Prince Eric X Pirate Captain Reader •Shipwrecked•

Shoutout to @healthygrilmaddie for the request of Prince Eric. Sorry, this took so long, and hope you enjoy the oneshot.

The salty air fills my nostrils and the mist from the crashing waves against the boat cools me down. A bright set of rainbows appear in the mist and sunlight making my lips turn upwards.

I'm the captain of the most respected pirates in these waters. I go by many names depending on whom you ask. To some, I'm a savior and to others, I'm a reckless sea dog. But to my diverse crew, I'm Captain (l/n) or Captain (y/n). I'm not evil nor is my crew. We just do as we see fun problems only occur when others get in our way.

As the normal whistling and humming of my crew begin to send me into a tranquil peace of mind a bright shimmer in the distance amongst the water catches my attention. It's then I see it. Another ship.

Quickly I make it down the mast of the ship and onto the wooden deck. Hastily I snatch a spyglass from another crew member and hold it up to my eye and in the direction of the ship. The pimple-covered teenage crew member whines but I pay no heed to his squeaky puberty voice. No, instead I'm focused on the fancy ship coming in our direction. That isn't any old ship, it's a royal ship.

Royals are nothing but a bunch of snobs in my opinion they do nothing but take from their people. A smile graces my face thinking of what I do with royals. Turning to face my crew I holler and point in the ship's direction telling them that we'll be plundering the royal ship. In response, the dozens of pirates in my crew cheer and begin preparing to attend the royal party.

Truly I feel somewhat bad for my hypocritical point of view since I've never been truly involved myself with a royal but then again I'm a pirate so morals aren't my priority.

Time skip
We did it, we took over the ship and captured the prince. The prince tried to stall us to allow his crew members to flee in the emergency boats. His plan did somewhat work but the prince and ship are ours In truth some crew mates are having a hard time doing their jobs now that the prince is tied to the largest mast of the boat. Women and some men keep glancing at him and get all flustered. I roll my eyes in annoyance then remind everyone to get back to work. Then my eyes drift to look at the black-haired prince. I study the tall male as he struggles against his rope bindings trapping him. A smirk graces my lips amused at the cute prince trying to fight back. Wait cute?!? No, I can't think like this. I don't love it. I gruff and then walk towards the prince.
His blue eyes widen and I walk around the mast and him.

"Well princy, are you enjoying your stay here so far?" I ask with sarcasm. The prince says nothing and just glares at me with his deep sparkling blue eyes. My lips form into a dramatic pout as I continue circling him. "What's the matter princey? You're not going to talk?" I giggle and try to continue playing with the black-haired man before me but one of my crew mates interrupts me. With a sigh my heel spins and the prince and I distance ourselves.

My crew navigator, Arnold, is a trusted friend of mine. He's practically like a kooky uncle to me. Though Arnold's appearance may appear scruffy to outsiders I find his dirty clothes and ragged hair nothing but a trait expressing his personality.

"Arnold, what is it?" I ask once he leads me to the mapping room. The map room is a cluttered mess with all types of maps, compasses, globes, and other Knick knacks stashed about.

"Captain I'm afraid of what's to come." My eyebrow raises at his vague answer. Arnold continues and says a large storm by which the likes we've never seen is coming towards the ship. And it's coming in fast. Arnold never gets this anxious about something unless it's really bad so this makes me fearful as well. Still keeping my calm headstrong Captain demeanor I suggest we turn away from the store and head towards shore after getting everyone below deck. Arnold agrees and leaves me to deliver the following orders as he finds the safest route for the ship. Though I don't dare to let anyone know my stomach is in knots with anticipation of what will occur.
