Dr Facilier x Reader - •Friends on both sides?•

Plot change: Friends on the other side are actually his friends/servants to Facilier and not trying to kill him in any way

The bell above the door jingles loudly as (y/n) and Facilier enter one of the cafes in the area. One of (Y/n)'s friends named Tiana works there so she often stops by for a quick chat. It also helps that Tiana makes the best food in all of Louisiana. (Y/n) and Facilier have been the best of friends since their first encounter and unknowingly to each other have developed feelings for one another. As (y/n) enters the cafe Facilier follows behind with him picking a small booth and table in the corner far away from prying eyes.

Sitting down in the booth with y/n and Facilier sitting across from one another they give each other sweet smiles glad they have been able to meet again.

"So Facilier, how's the Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo business going." (Y/n) giggly teases giving a small hand gesture causing Facilier to slightly blush. (Y/n) is the only person that really gets him and Facilier treasures her greatly. Sure he has his friends on the other side and his shadow double but they were mere acquaintances compared to his loyalty to (y/n).

"Ummm it's going alright nothing new, what about your job?" Facilier asks.

"Well...." (y/n) starts on to be interrupted by the jingling of the restaurant bell. Two mid-aged women walk into the restaurant. The women are skinny and have a light skin color. The first one appears to be in her late 30s with olive-colored skin, curly ginger hair in a bun with a green floral hat to match her pair of green eyes. A meadow green dress matching her hat goes down past her knees. She continues talking with the woman next to her who has blonde hair and a blue dress in a similar style to her friends.

"I'm still in shock that Collins shoe store burnt to the ground and his wife stole all his money." The redhead says.

"I know I can hardly believe he fired everyone without a paycheck much less a dime for their troubles."

The women then start discussing that they'll miss the stylish shoes. Facilier turns to (y/n) hoping for her sake this isn't true. Unfortunately, she doesn't doubt it.

"Well there you go. I have no clue where to work. Either the job position is full or they just won't hire me since I'm a woman. " (y/n) glumly says putting her head on her hand. "If I don't find a decent job by the end of the week I'm going to have to move back in with my family in (y/s)."

Facilier hates seeing (y/n) moppy and loathed the idea of her moving away. In the heat of the moment, Facilier says the first thing that came to his mind,

"What if you work at my place?"

"What?" (Y/n) questions lifting her chin off her hand.

"I even have an excellent small spare bedroom you can live in till you get back on your feet."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes (y/n) I'm sure."

"Then yes it would definitely help and I've never been to your house and business before so I  am excited."

'Sh•t' Facilier can't believe he let it slip into his mind that he hasn't let (y/n) come to his business and home before. It's not that he was trying to be rude; he just didn't want (y/n) to see all his voodoo supplies and think he was even weirder than she probably already thought he was.
