Amber's POV

"Outrider Amber reporting for duty!"

"Oh- Amber. Glad to see you back safe and sound. Lumine? Is she okay?"

"Yes, Grand Master Jean. Lumine did very well today as well! I know you told us to do some border patrol and we did. We eliminated two Hilichurl camps. Although we didn't encounter anything too dangerous. They look like scouts if anything or the ambush type. Although.. we encountered something weird."

"Weird? How so, Amber."

"Me and Lumine went to the Whispering Woods actually.. after we eliminated the second camp- we saw.. these." I don't know what these are but I've never seen anything like this before." I place down two weird looking.. things.

I can grip the.. the thing with one hand very easily.

"What is this..? I never seen this before." Grand Master Jean picks up the.. weird thing and her index finger is around the.. i don't even know what it is. "Wait.. I think this is some sort of weapon. The Fatui are familiar with weapons like these, but I doubt they use anything this small." The Grand Master aims the thing and was able to shoot it.

So it's a weapon.. and it was capable of destroying a flower vase while creating a loud sound. It sounds powerful and looks really easy to use.

"How did you do that, Grand Master?"

"My finger.. I pulled this.. I guess this is some sort of lever. I pulled this and I notice a small spark. I'm guessing there's some sort of powder in this weapon. Then that spark ignited the flammable power and because of that sudden heat energy bursting in seconds.. it was able to propel or shoot something.. It seems whatever it shot- it went through my vase.. but it didn't really damage the walls."

"What do you think, Grand Master?"

"I never seen anything like it before.. but it looks very dangerous from the looks of it. It's not meant to pierce through armour it seems, but it's able to kill someone.. Just aim the weapon and pull this little lever here. This thing is far more easier to use compared to a bow and arrow.. I think I can only shoot this thing once.. so I'm assuming the other thing is loaded with whatever it's loaded with. Where did you find this anyways, Amber?"

"Outside of Whispering Woods. We also found a sword, but.. it's nothing i've seen before. It has a cover.. of some sort. No one in Mondstadt certainly use a.. a sheathe for their sword. Also this sword is very light and long. It looks like it can easily break.."

"Wow.. What a beautiful sword though." Grand Master Jean unsheathes the sword and examines the blade. "So.."

"We were following the trail. We found two of those.. shooting thingies and this sword. We also found a few small knives as well. Then we found a boy. Captured by the Hilichurls. Me and Lumine saved the guy and eliminated the Hilichurls. I think those weapons belong to Saiken."

"Saiken? Hmm.. Not a name I ever heard of."

"His full name is Reddokorudo Saiken. He said that he comes from the capital of Liyue."

"Liyue? Saiken doesn't sound like a name from Liyue.. Well as far as I know anyways. Where is he, Amber?"

"He's with Lumine. She's trying to figure out how to deal with him.. because he said that he's going to be living in Mondstadt now and start a new life despite having zero moras. These weapons he has is something out of the ordinary and I have my suspicions."

"Hm.. interesting fellow.. Keep an eye on this Saiken character. He could be the same as Lumine. Lumine seems to be not of this world, correct?"

"Y-yeah."
