Amber's POV

Both me and Lumine were rewarded for our hard work. We both earned ten thousand moras just for helping the locals to set up the festival.

It was a long day, but today is going to be the day.. I try to confess my weird feelings to Lumine. I wonder if she feels the same way about me..

I've had second thoughts, but.. I hope me and Lumine can still remain as friends if she doesn't really like me..

I'm so nervous right now! The festival begins sometime around the evening.. everyone looks so excited and I'm supposed to meet Lumine at the fountain, but I can't take a step forward right now!

I'm just.. afraid as well.. Of course I want the best outcome and.. I understand if things don't go my way, but it's hard to accept the rejection.

Ohh.. what did I get myself into..

"Hey! No loitering around."

"You seem down. That's strange.. something wrong?"

"No.. I'm fine."

"Uh Huh.." Strange.. what happened to his sword? It's usually around his waist. Perhaps his weapon turned to their human form and they're probably just running around.. "Where's Umm.. Yeon and Hee?"

"What do you mean who? Your weapons? They're about three hundred years old? Excuse me- you just told us about your weapon like.. a week ago."

"Don't know what you're talking about, Amber. I only have a two star sword from the blacksmith."

"But.. you just.. you killed hundreds of Hilichurls with Yeon and Hee. I saw it with my own eyes."

"Umm.. no? Me? Killing hundreds of Hilichurls? Preposterous! I can't even beat Captain Kaeya in a duel. Don't know what you're talking about."

"So.. they assigned only you to guard the front gates..?"

After that- Acting Grand Master Jean gave Saiken the captain role of a commando squad..

"I must go! The acting Grand Master must know that she has made a misjudgement about having me guard the front gate alone!"

"Wait! Saiken- Damnit!" There he goes.. seriously! Just what is going on?!

I'll have to keep Lumine waiting..

"I figured it out, Amber. I've seen something so.. just out of this world! What I've saw has kept me using simple vocabulary and it seems unprofessional, but I.. There's really no words to describe what I saw and I'm still dumbfounded."
