Your POV

It's been a few days since Buck and I kissed. I was sitting eating breakfast, we hadn't really talked about it since, so I feel Buck regretted it, we both thought I was going to die that day. Maybe now that he realizes I'm okay he regrets it. I was eating my bacon sitting away from the rest of the group writing in a notebook. I heard footsteps and I closed the notebook I looked over to see Eddie standing there with Chris, and Carla. I was surprised Chris was here, he had school today. I hope everything is okay. I smile at them.

"Hey Chris." I stand up and kneel down to give him a hug.

"Hey (y/n). I came to ask you something."

"Sure buddy, anything."

"Would you like to come over for a playdate, and can you bring your dog?" I smiled widely, I looked at Eddie.

"He's been bugging me every since he met you the day of the earthquake to invite you over for a playdate, I told him he should ask himself." I didn't notice Buck was watching, a bit jealous that Chris asked me over for a playdate, and not him. I look back at Chris.

"I would be honored to have a playdate."

"Does Friday work? After he gets home from school and our shift ends?" Eddie asks.

"Perfect! Well you guys better get going, don't want to be late for school do you?" I ask. Chris shakes his head. I give him one more hug before standing up and I look at Eddie, he hands me his phone so I could put my number in, after I put my number in, I hand my phone to him so he could put his number in.

"We can work all the details out later. Come on bud." He walks off with Chris. I was sitting near the railing so I had a view of the trucks. I watch him give Chris a hug goodbye and saying bye to Carla before he heads into the locker room. I put my phone back in my pocket Hen walks over.

"I think he may be using Chris to spend time with you." Hen says. I shrug.

"Well. If he likes me should've just asked me himself, no need to use Chris, but since Chris asked, I will be going over for Chris." I say. Hen laughs.

"Well I'm just saying, ever since the earthquake Eddie looks at you differently." Hen says.

"When Buck gave Eddie a ride to the school to get Chris and give them a ride home, then giving me a ride home. Chris and I kept talking about dogs, and how I had a lot growing up because we rescued strays. He was so interested, that he didn't want to get out of the car when we got to their house. Said he wanted to talk more about dogs, I said another time we definitely will, and seems he is holding me to that." I say. Hen smiles and I hear Chimney laugh a bit, I glance over to see Chimney was also listening and Buck was annoyed.

"I feel Eddie might like you, so maybe Eddie is using the fact that Chris likes you to his advantage." Chimney says.

"Well, who wouldn't like her? She's amazing." Hen says. Buck scoffed and everyone looked at him, and he looked back surprised.

"Got something to say there... Evan?" I step towards him. He looks away then back at me.

"Chris likes everyone, it's not that hard to be liked by the kid." Buck says.

"Awe, is someone jealous Chris asked me over for a playdate and not you? Awe boohoo cry me a river." I say walking off. Bobby bursts out laughing and so does everyone else. I was downstairs working out some anger I had. I was hitting the punching bag with one ear bud in listening to music, I didn't notice Buck had come downstairs.

"What's your issue?" Buck asks. I chuckle. I turn to face him.

"You, you're my issue." We didn't know Chimney, Hen, and Bobby had come downstairs, and Eddie had walked out of the locker room.
