Chapter 4- Where Did The Water Go?

Your POV

I was asleep in my bed when I felt the blanket get ripped back I sit up to see Eddie and Buck standing there, I groaned, it's been a week and a few days since I messaged anyone. I just closed myself off from everyone. 

"Get up." Eddie says. 

"No." I say laying back down covering myself up. The blanket is ripped away again and I grumble. 

"Come on you have stuff to do." Buck says. 

"No. I really don't." I then get out of bed and walk towards my living room. 

"Come on, your life isn't over just because you're not a firefighter." I hear Eddie say. 

"Says the firefighters." I say getting myself a cup of coffee I almost went back to my room when I heard. 

"Hey (y/n)." I look to see Chris sitting on my chair. My mood instantly changed when I saw him. 

"Hey buddy, what are you doing here?" 

"He's spending his day with his (Y/n) and Buck." Eddie says. I look at Buck a bit confused, but he just smiles. Eddie gives Chris a hug. 

"How about you get out of the house, go have some fun." Eddie says. He leaves after giving me a hug. He says by to Chris. I look at Buck and Chris. We then decided to go to the pier. I get changed and I was walking next to Buck with Chris in between us. They were laughing, but I had my head else where. 

"Hey (Y/n), you're short enough to ride with Chris." Buck says. I look over. 

"Hm." Then realize the height and laugh. 

"Ride with me?" Chris asks. I nod my head. 

"Yeah I'll ride with you buddy." We get on the ride and we were laughing. I see Buck smiling up at us and waves. I wave back, we get some food and take a picture sending it to Eddie, we go stand at the end of the pier by the water. Buck was holding Chris by the back of the shirt will Chris stood on the bench watching the water. I sat next to buck holding the huge teddy bear that Chris had won and holding his crutches. People started gathering and we looked at the water, it had receeded far, then the alarm for a tsunami went off, Buck started running with Chris and I ran behind them, Buck laid Chris down and when the water got closer we dove in then we were hit. 

-Time skip.- 

I was under the water and I was trying to get up when I was at the top, I let out a breath of air and I grabbed onto something hanging above me. 

"Christopher! Buck!" I start yelling. I looked around, I tried to find them, I didn't even realize how far the water pushed us. I kept getting hit with water. I let out gasps of air. 

"(Y/n)!" I hear. It was Chris. 

"Christopher!" I let go of the line I was holding and let the water pull me that's when I see him. 

"(Y/n)! Chris!" I hear. 

"Buck!" I yell. I manage to grab Chris as I go past him. 

"I got you Chris, I got you." I say. Buck manages to grab us both. 

"I got you both. I got you." I had a death grip on Chris. Buck had a death grip on both of us. We find the a ladder truck and he takes Chris while I hold onto to side and he puts Chris in then he jumped in and helped pull me in. 

"Are you okay?" I ask Chris, he smiled. 

"I'm okay, I know how to surf." He says smiling. I laugh. 

"Maybe you can teach me." Buck stands up trying to get a better view. 

"Guess we are gonna be here a while." Buck ends up helping people to the ladder truck. I see a dead body float by and I move Chris so he doesn't see it. I was talking to him buck went to help another person when Chris and I were bumped into the water and pulled away. I could hear my name being yelled but I couldn't fight. I end up finding Chris again and I hold him.
