"Saturn darling, are you done?" tawag sa akin ni Mom.

"Coming!" I shouted from my room.

I had a last minute self check before going down wearing my silver long gown. I put on a light make up, just more on lipstick dahil hindi naman makikita ang eyeshadow ko dahil may mask.

When my Mom saw me, she guided me inside the car. We have our personal driver so magkatabi kaming tatlo ngayon.

"Gorgeous," my Dad face me. He's wearing a coat with a tie na color red, matching Mom's gown.

"Thank you Dad," I said.

"Is there anyone courting you right now, Saturn?" he asked.

"Nope," I replied.

Wala naman talaga eh, takot sila. My family is that rich and well-known here, feeling siguro nila ang taas ng standards ko.

"That Sullivan don't?" he asked.

"His name is Jupiter, and no. We're just best friends." I said. I already considered him as my best friend. I hope he thinks the same too.

"What do you think Honey?" he faced Mom.

"I don't think the Sullivan's are interested in those kind of arrangements," my Mom said.

What?

Tumango lang si Dad saka sinuot na ang kanyang maskara. I did the same since malapit na kami sa venue.

Naglahad si Dad ng kamay kay Mom para alalayan pababa ng kotse, ganun rin sa akin.

Napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa purse na dala ko because it just keep on vibrating.

I tried to get my phone inside, only for me to see Jupiter calling.

"Yes?" I asked him.

[Where are you?] he asked.

"Resort na, you?"

[Saan dito?] he asked again.

"Oh, nasa labas palang. My parents are talking to someone," I informed him.

[Stay there,] he said before turning off the call.

Minutes later, nakikita ko na si Jupiter. He smiled at me and I did the same.

He's wearing a suit with white tie. Halos magka-match sa damit ko. His mask is also white, with little shinny silver sa gilid.

He looked so formal, so handsome.

Oh, I didn't mean to think of that.

Kinausap niya si Mom and Dad bago pumunta sa akin.

"Let's go," he said saka naglahad ng kamay sa akin.

I held it, it feels rough. Ang laki ng kamay niya, tapos ang akin maliit lang.

"Magpapaalam muna ako," I said.

"No need, let's go." he said saka hinila na ako papasok sa pavillion.

"Rain," he greeted Rain Walter when he passed by him. He's one of our batchmates too.

"Jup," he said before facing me.

"Saturn," he said greeting me.

"Hey," I greeted him back. He's holding a champange. Wow bigatin.

"Ate," I heard Anna's voice behind me.

"Hey Anna! Happy Birthday!" I greeted her then hugged her.

"Thank you po," she smiled when Rain and Jupiter greeted her too.

We had a small talk before she excused herself dahil tinatawag nga siya.
