Goodbye From Lonely

A.K.

I feel so much lighter after talking to Karter. Hayton told me take the dive and let him touch me, Ocean and Elijah told me to let him decide where we go from here. I decided to do both, and I made the right decision.

I watched his ass and even squeezed it from my position over his shoulder. I was about to ask where he was taking me until I was tossed on the bed, making me 'oof'.

I sat up to see him pull orange leathers out of my duffel bag, and toss them to me. "Ah, you did tell Henry I'd wear these tonight. Looking like a pile of, what was it?"

He grinned and replied with pride. "All mine."

I chuckled softly at him. "Wear one of those custom shirts for me, tonight. You pick the color."

I was a bit anxious to see his reaction, so I bit my lip while I waited for him to pull one of the shirts out. He pulled out the turquoise one. It was styled similarly to the shirt he wore the very first night: fishnet covering his chest, and fabric keeping his Beast's Mark covered. That wasn't what had me anxious though...

He squinted while looking at it. "Is the square... wait those are BOUNDARIES! I GET IT!" He grinned and even laughed. "It's perfect! It matches your ID!"

I released a breath and smiled. I had "A.K.'s Boy" stitched onto the back in bold lettering with "Head Sub" in cursive under it, all centered in the center of the square. "You really like it? Not too tacky?"

He came forward and pecked my lips, then smiled on them. "My man likes to flaunt me, who am I to deny him?" He groaned suddenly after. "Oh no, I sound like Elijah."

I laughed that time, but he reminded me of something. "Speaking of, James says you owe him money or an ass whooping?"

Karter's eyes were immediately overtaken by Lion, and he made a beeline for the door. "You wanna throw hands, Cupcake?!"

Shit. I followed him out to the living room where I knew Hayton, Ocean, and Elijah were. Elijah, already in his teal leather shorts, stood and activated his Unique. Two machetes came to his hands as he took a fighting stance. "You pay for my shirt or I slice n' dice, Sweetie!"

Ocean grabbed Elijah's machetes at the same time I tackled Karter to the floor, and sat on his back. "Boys, I'm sure we can use our words here."

Each time Karter tried to get up, I ran my fingers directly down his spine. It made him falter enough to remain under me, but it also made Lion release those toe-curling type of growls. Both of them were still trying to fight however, so Ocean caged Elijah's hands with an orb of water.

This made Karter gasp. "You're the Conjurer Ecos, Wonder must be a Manipulator. I bet you two are sick partners in crime."

Ocean smirked at Karter, but didn't respond. I took that opportunity to speak, "Why are you two so wound up?"

Elijah glared at Karter. "Cause I'm sick of his shit! Nobody puts up with your fuckery more than me, and you turn around and rip my good crop top?!" He struggled against his water-made restraint to no avail.

Karter growled right back at him and surged forward. I had to tighten the grip of my legs, so I toyed with the back of his knees. "Down, Lion."

He groaned and growled, but stayed still nonetheless. "You were in my face! You should know better than anyone to leave me alone when I ask! Plus, preaching his case to me?! You're MY best friend!"
