Getting Hoseok's phone number wasn't that much of a big deal for Jungkook, provided he was clever enough to not fumble while letting her mother know he got a new phone.
"So this is what you had in your mind?" Namjoon asked, surprised.
"Exactly" Jungkook answered.
Then, came the part where he had to dial the older's number to talk to him.
"Hello?" Jungkook could hear Hoseok's voice, from the other side of the phone.
"Um... Hello?" Jungkook gulped.
"H-hoseok?" That's what the younger managed to say.
An eerie silence filled the room.
"Is this... Is this, you?" Hoseok asks. "Jungkook?"
"W-wait!" Jungkook shouted.
"How have you been?" Jungkook asked.
"Great" Hoseok answered, without hesitation.
Great? Jungkook didn't expect that.
After waiting for a while (just in case Hoseok had to say anything, which he didn't), Jungkook continued.
"Why did you leave?"
There came no answer to it.
Sighing, Jungkook asked Hoseok something else.
"Where are you?"
And the call ended right there.
Jungkook tried calling Hoseok once more, but he was unreachable.
He closed his eyes, feeling guilty again.
