I give up

Waking up without anyone beside him wasn't really something Hoseok didn't expect. He doesn't remember anything that happened the previous night, or rather, he doesn't want to remember.

Keeping a straight face, he stood up, and went to the washroom, ignoring the pain in his legs. When he walked out of the bathroom, the only sound one could hear in the room was the sound of the clock ticking.

Sipping his coffee, Hoseok thought about it. "Please take care. And, tell me anything that upsets you" Yoongi's voice kept ringing in his head. He thinks if he should let the older know. But, then Yoongi seemd pretty busy these days. Hoseok wonders if it's right to let him know what's he's been through.

Bad idea. He huffs.

Laying on his bed, he thinks how all of it started in the first place, while his eyes were fixated on the boring white ceiling above.

What went wrong? Am I wrong because I loved you?

Hoseok smiles.

It's just another day of him calling in sick. He can't go out with those bruises full on display. That's how it is, how it's always been.

Unlike other days, today was somewhat different. Hoseok didn't feel like doing his chores today, and he put up this dull expression since the morning.

Some time later, he took his phone out.

"Yoongi Hyung?"

"Ah.. Yes, Hoba?"

"Do you mind me moving in with you for some time?"

"Sure.. But, why?"

"I'll... I'll let you know" The boy tried his level best to hold back his tears.

Hoseok didn't even have anything in mind when he called Yoongi. All he wanted was to live a 'life', he realized Jungkook wasn't the one for him, or rather he wasn't willing to be the one for him.

With tons of memories flashing before him, he looked around the room, making sure he didn't leave his things.

Smiling at that one picture of Jungkook that was put up on the wall not long ago, Hoseok went out of the house.

And, after a year of living with Jungkook, he finally got the strength to walk away.
