"Oh, well, this is interesting."

Jemma looked up, seeing a ginger woman leaning over the table, frowning at a newspaper clipping. "What is it?" she asked, walking over.

Saleen Harper shook her head, pointing. "There are rumors of weapons the British only used for a limited time," she said. "Made by a Professor Edwin Bracewell, called Ironsides." She held up the newspaper. "Look familiar?"

Jemma narrowed her eyes. "Daleks," she recognized.

"Uh huh," Saleen nodded, laying the paper down. "Only for a limited time before they suddenly disappeared. Winston Churchill stayed quiet about the whole ordeal."

Jemma looked at her. "Do you think they were there?'

"Daleks in World War II?" Saleen raised an eyebrow. "What do you think?"

"Daleks in World War II?" Steve Rogers echoed as he poked his head around the doorframe. "What?"

"We're trying to find the Doctor and Jessie again," Jemma explained. "The last time we saw them, they were about to regenerate."

"Again?" Steve frowned, walking over. "Jenny was devastated when they left."

"We heard," Saleen whispered. "How's she holding up?"

"Throwing everything she's got into SHIELD," Steve answered.

"Poor girl," Saleen sighed.

"Did you try calling them?"

"First thing we did," Fitz answered, walking in. "No answer. Went straight to voicemail."

Steve frowned. "You'd think they'd be out there somewhere."

"The whole entire universe and all of time and space," Jemma reminded him. "And we don't exactly have knowledge of other planets."

"Fair enough," Steve conceded.

Saleen put her head in her hands, looking down at the Daleks in the newspaper. "Where are you two?" she whispered. "Where are you?"

"Can we go to a planet next?" Amy asked in excitement as they went around the console. "Please tell me we can see a planet next."

"Can you handle a planet?" Jessie teased.

Amy frowned at her. "Of course I can!"

Jessie grinned. "If you say so."

"I can!"

"She's just messing with you, Amy," the Doctor smirked. "She does that with people."

Jessie rolled her eyes. "It was my job."

"Exactly," he winked.

Jessie rolled her eyes, starting to look through planets they could visit when she frowned, something catching her attention. She pulled up the information on a blinking device in a museum. "What the hell?" she asked, taking a closer look. "Kasterborous? We may need to take a detour."

He walked over to take a look as well. "Ooo," he nodded in agreement. "Detour it is!"

Amy blinked. "What?"

"Hang on!" he whooped, setting the TARDIS going again.

Amy clung onto the console as Jessie laughed, still standing up almost completely straight.

She loved these detours. They always got them into trouble.

While I didn't like the whole "the image of an angel becomes an angel" thingamabobber about this two-parter, I LOVED it to bits! Especially . . . Amy kissing the Doctor. That was hilarious!

Oh . . . that will happen in here, by the way. ;) There's a reason I've neglected the terms husband/wife in their dialogue, so Amy doesn't know the Doctor's taken yet. Let's just say . . . River is going to be so much fun to write, especially after the Library.

Speaking of the Library . . . I'll be doing River's POV on "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead" during Book 7, which is "Asylum of the Daleks" through "The Snowmen" so the books are about even in chapter length. That'll be fun to do. :) Because I'm already getting Ten and Two deprived, I'm literally rereading "Ending of the Hours" just so I can stay sane, I miss those two so much. :(

How about a little bit of a poll to get these comments up?

Which OC (can be any of my DW OCs, not just J) is your favorite? Jessie, the Apocalypse, or the Alchemist?

If it's a specific OC, which incarnation of her is your favorite (kind of obvious for the Alchemist, she hasn't regenerated yet)?

And finally, which DW pairing do you like best? For TBWC, Nine and One, Ten and One, Ten and Two, or Eleven and Three? For TCS, Nine and Nine or Nine and Ten? Or you could even choose a sibling relationship for AR, Nine and Rose, Nine and Jack, Nine, Rose, and Jack, or Ten and Rose. :)

Please give me comments so I'm not bored the rest of the day. Please? :)
