(almost five years ago)The plane landed on the runway, speeding to a halt infront of gate 42A. We didn't take the private jet like usual, something about his brother taking it out to Hawaii for summer vacation before college. So we were flying first class with the other wealthy, snobby people who weren't exactly rich enough to afford their own private jet. They were judging us, or at least me. I didn't look like them. I didn't come from wealth, I certainly didn't act wealthy. But I had accumulated significant amounts of money working for Theo these past couple of years. My temporary PA job had turned into a permanent one when Stacy informed a few months ago us that she had family issues and would not be able to return to work.
Perhaps they were judging me for my outfit. I wasn't wearing Chanel or Louis Vuitton like they were, but I was wearing top notch office attire. Theo and I had a very important meeting to attend in an hour.
We were the first to exit the plane out onto the runway, where, as usual, a sleek, black SUV Limousine was waiting for us. Theo escaped the tropical summer air of Singapore first, sliding quickly into the air conditioned vehicle.
Santiago Encorperated was very heavily involved in the trade-exports business, and well respected too. The high-ranking members from companies from all over the world were flying into Singapore tonight for the annual charity ball, of course we came in the early morning because we coincidentally had a meeting to attend here this very same day. The ball is hosted in a different country each year, last year it was in Japan, this year it's in Singapore, and next year it will be right at home in New York.

"Are you ready yet?" Theo's husky tenor sounded through my hotel room door.
The meeting had finished two hours ago and was very successful. In fact, we had all celebrated the success early and went out for a couple drinks at the bar. Now it was almost time for the charity ball, the inentions of which are to get people insanely drunk and have them spend outrageous amounts of money on expensive things, 80% of that money would go to charities all around the world.
Instead of answering him, I simply walked barefooted to the door and opened it for him to come in. I was almost ready, I just had to put on my jewlery and shoes. My dress was a beautiful satin red color with a slit exposing my tanned leg. I remained silent as he followed me back inside, stopping near the foot of the bed. I walked to the body length mirror in the corner and put on a dainty golden necklace and simple tear drop shaped diamond dangling earrings. Then I slipped on matching red heels, grabbed my clutch and turned to face him, my dress blowing softly around me.
Theo appeared to be staring straight through me, his eyes glazed over as he took in my appearance.
"Lets go." He mumbled, holding out his arm for me to hold.
We spent the night drinking, dancing, mingling with our business partners, and bidding. When the ball was over, the two of us were absolutely plastered. It seemed alcohol was the only way the two of us genuinely got along, considering we were both the giggling kind of drunk.
"Listen, listen, listen," Theo slurred as we stumbled down the hallway to our hotel rooms, crashing against eachother and the walls, "you're like... the prettiest person in the whole entire galaxy. You're prettier than the stars, okay." He laughed, his arm tightening around me as he almost fell, "Have you ever seen a person shaped like a star? I have."
"Theo, stars don't exist on Earth." I grumbled, wanting to go back to the party for more alcohol but we had been cut off and forced to leave.
"Prettiest... you know you're my best friend right? and I love you, and Ace, and all my friends. But I love you the most." He continued, tripping over himself causing me to laugh. He was laying on the ground now. "I've always loved you."
I bent down to grab his hand, using all my drunken might to pull him back up, making the two of us laugh, once again. I stumbled back into the wall, the momentum causing Theo to fall against me. His body pressed warmly into mine and I let out a small moan.
"Always loved you." He whispered before fitting our lips together.
I don't remember any details beyond that. Just that we spent an incredibly passionate, reckless night together and that I was holding a positive test in my hands a few weeks later.
