~Theo~

My heart thumped wildly in my chest.

She loves me back, she loves me back, she loves me...

After her little speech she looked up at me with her big doe eyes and a weary smile. A warm, fuzzy feeling was growing in my chest.

She loves me, she loves me, she loves me...

"You love me?" I asked, shocked and needing to hear it again.

"Yes," She breathed, "I'm in love with you."

She's in love with me.

A smile broke out on my face. It wasn't often we were on the same page about something, and I couldn't be happier that we both agreed that fighting with eachother was doing more harm than good. It may have taken us ten years to admit to ourselves and to eachother that we loved eachother, but it was better late then never.

Moonlight shined down on us through the glass doors that led to my balcony, sharpening our features in snowwy shadows. They danced on her body seductively, darkening her lips and the dip between her breasts. I wanted to be the shadows... taunting, teasing, licking...

As if she had heard my thoughts, those sugar soft lips fitted themselves against mine and I was a goner. Each stolen kiss over the past five years could never amount to this. This was a new level of intoxication, something far beyond what I was feeling back in Singapore.

I was drunk with love. My hands tethered through her gorgeous hair which I had watched slowly fall
out of its braid throughout the night. She smelled like flowers and strawberries, wild and sweet, a dangerous combination to my intension.

The shadows couldn't compete when her arms locked around my neck and her body was trapped between me and the wall. My hands chased them away, tattooing the thought of us into our minds. In this moment we had everything to gain and everything to lose, I will not let the shadows take over again.

My lips followed the curves of her body as we lay tangled in the sheets. We danced to the new heartbeat I made for us, falling apart at the best part of the song, drifting off into a sleepy lullaby, waking up with the sun and doing it all over again.

She loves me.
