Damon's POV

Out. I needed to get out of that house. Stephen was doing what he does best; controlling and being a party pooper. Always trying to tell me how to live my life. Who cares if I fed on Mystic Falls? We're vampires, we do this to survive. I let him live his life, being weak and living on animal blood. But as soon as I kill a few citizens, I need to get an intervention!

I was fuming and getting angrier by the speed second which I was running at, not knowing where to go, I ended up doing circles in the woods, and finally, in Liz's backyard.

I could feel my eyes bubbling with red hot veins.

I paused near the woods in her backyard and thought.

Why am I here? Did I come to talk to a 17 year old human girl? What would this do, make me trust another soul that would do the same thing Stephen and his friends do to me?

Something was calling me to talk to her, like she's different then them. Like i need to talk to Liz. I noticed that for whatever reason, the earth was pushing me to Liz. Like some weird witchy voodoo. I shrugged it off and continued carefully sneaking around her house to the front door. A wave of nervousness flooded into me, which was odd considering I was in a pissed off mood just 10 minutes ago. How was this girl making me feel these emotions? She was strong, strong enough to make me feel something for her.

I don't know what I'm expecting from her, maybe for her to care? Since nobody else does. But then again its always me pushing people away or composing them hate me. Suddenly I felt mad at myself, for building this big of a mess. I need to feed, I thought.

I swiftly knocked on the door, rocking back and forth on my heels and awaiting the door to open.

3rd person POV

Liz heard a soft but loud enough for her to hear upstairs, knock on the front door. Fumbling to put on short yoga shorts and a old tye dye soccer tournament shirt, she eventually made her way to the front door. Putting one eye up to the peep hole, she saw the attractive mysterious man who visited her nights before.

"I know you're looking through the peephole love, you shouldn't be so rude to ignore me when I can see  you," Klaus said with a powerful smirk.

Rolling her eyes, Liz opened up the door.

"Yes, Klaus? What do you want from me?" Liz questioned the englishman.

"Is there something wrong with trying to be friendly with a fellow neighbor in Mystic Falls? Is it odd for attractive men like me to want to get to know you?" Klaus said with confidence.

Liz was flustered. Klaus was so straight up with how he felt, not fake or unsure about what he said. Maybe it was true, maybe Klaus is just a guy who wants to get to know her. She defiantly needs some friends.

"Fine. Come on in," Liz replied, opening her front door.

Klaus slowly stepped in, unaware of where to go. He settled on walking to the living room which was shared with the kitchen and stood polite, waiting to see what Liz would do. Normally Klaus would do this kind of mission with aggression and forcefulness, but he felt the need to be kind to Liz. Something was stirring inside of him, and he felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside. There was something about the freckles across her nose and plump lips and big blue/green eyes that made him hypnotized. He didn't want to hurt her, but rather get to know her.
