CONTEXT:
↳ You and your boyfriend, Haechan, have this random thing for solving puzzles. You two always get so excited when finding a new puzzle to solve. On your day off, Haechan comes home with a puzzle he bought. It wasn't what you expected, but it left you in tears.

STORY:
He picked up the small box and poured all of the little puzzle pieces onto the floor. "How many pieces are there?" I asked as I started putting pieces together.

"100?" He answered, looking back at the cardboard box to make sure.

"Oh, was there not one with more pieces? Usually they have a 1000 piece version," I shrugged.

"There was, but I just felt like there was something special about this one." He spread out the pieces and slowly put a few together, glancing up at me every few seconds.

After about 20 minutes, Haechan spoke up, talking in a sarcastic tone. "Hurry up! It's taking sooooo long, I thought you'd be done by now."

"It's not like you're doing anything." I pointed at the 7 pieces he connected. "Usually you're faster than this," I said, mocking him.

"I was getting distracted by your eyes," he held my hand and rubbed it, pouting at the same time. I huffed and rolled my eyes, his actions slowly breaking me. "You should close your eyes if you want me to go faster, you should just solve it with your eyes closed from now on," he continued. I clenched one of my fists and slightly held it up as a warning. He laughed and continued watching me as I put together the puzzle.

25 more minutes passed, and only a few pieces were left scattered around the floor. As I was about to pick up one of the pieces, Haechan quickly placed a blindfold that covered my eyes and quickly tied it, the blindfold almost slipping out of his grip a few times. "What's with the blindfold? I didn't even get to finish it," I pouted.

"I'll help you put the last few pieces together then."

"But I want to finish it on my own," I whined. I felt his hands grasp mine as he moved my hand, connecting the last few pieces. "When can I take off this blindfold? This better not be one of your pranks again, last time it took days to get that stench out of the apartment." I could hear the sounds of shuffling around the room for about a minute before all I could hear was silence.

"You can take your blindfold off now!"

"My missing puzzle piece? I don't get it. There's no pieces that are missing. What's it suppose to mean?" I glanced down at the finished puzzle, confused.

"Will you marry me, you idiot?"

I turned to look at Haechan and froze. In front of me was Haechan down on one knee, holding out a shiny ring.

"That was the point of this whole puzzle? You made me do a whole puzzle for 45 minutes as your proposal idea?"

"Yeah? I find it pretty impressive," he smiled. "Does that mean you're not going to accept the proposal?"

"Obviously I'm going to say yes to your proposal, stupid," I rolled my eyes, trying to cover up the fact that my eyes were starting to water. I could see that his face instantly lit up and he walked up to me, giving me a hug.

A/N: I'm sorry for how cringey it is, but I thought it was a random cute idea :)
