I wasn't scared of making new friends besides Harlow. It's just i'm scared they'll find out my secret. Harlow doesn't even know. People have always tried to talk to us but we just politely decline. I decided not to meet his friend and just say that I was busy. I took the note, crumbled it then placed it on his desk.

Right as I turned back around I got a text from Harlow. "Where are you? Are you in class? I haven't seen you all day. I'm starting to get worried Mani. You have been acting weird lately. Are you okay?" it read. I replied "Har relax i'm okay. I just got to school a little late today. We can meet at your locker after school. Okay? I'm fine, stop worrying or you'll end up like my brother." She answered, "Alright I'm taking your word but don't forget that you can tell me anything babe. See you later. Byeeee". "Harlow I know see ya! Bye Bye".

"Bug, come on, school is over. I wanna introduce you to someone" Declan said, sounding very excited. I on the other hand I was not.

Today I found out he was in my first period , third and last. Yay.

"Sorry I can't," I said, starting to walk away. He got a hold of my wrist and said "You are coming with me missy," he sounded like my father. Ew. "But "I promised Harlow i'd-" he cut me off "I don't care". Then he changed his grip from my wrist to my hand. He was holding my hand. Again. Then the worst thing ever happened. He walked past Harlow's locker and she almost immediately was by my side with a zillion questions.

"I thought we were meeting up at my locker? Who is that? Where are you going? Why are you with him? Why is he holding your hand? Is he the reason you have been acting so weird lately? Is he your boyfriend? OMG what about your brother?" After she finished she was gasping for air.

Before I could respond, Declan had already started talking.

"I guess you were but I didn't let her. Declan Davis. To see Georgie. We are friends. Because I can. No. No. And I don't know him".

"Declan this is Harlow. Harlow this is Declan" I introduced them. "Nice to meet you bug's friend. Now let's go meet my friend" he said. We stopped in front of a classroom and there was a tan curly haired boy sitting at a desk. Which I assume is Georgie.
