"I'm really sorry the outfit didn't work out," Lea apologizes comfortingly.
"It's okay," I lie. Standing in the hallway trying to go unnoticed, i just want to break out and cry. But instead I am here with my best-friend trying to make everything sound like it's not her fault.
"I thought you rocked it!" Lea added, "Hashtag model status." She laughs, I fake it.
"Well we thought just the oppoiste." Mia and her clique approach us. Oh, why can't they just leave me alone!
"What do you girls want?" Lea aks confidently.
"What do we want? We just want to make sure Cindy doesn't pull that stupid little stunt she did at lunch today, ever agian." Olivia adds.
"Just remember, Cindy, you will NEVER, EVER, be as cool as us." Mia states, "So don't even try." They all walk away laughing and content with themselves.
"Don't worry about them. They are just insecure, spoiled brats." Lea said comfortingly.
"Yeah I just wish things didn't have to be this way. Like what if I want to be like them, there shouldn't be anything to stop me. Sometimes i just wish they could get a taste of their own medicine." We started to walk to our next class. Thank goodness the day was almost over.
