CHAPTER 7:
💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
She wears high heels, I wear sneakers
She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers
Dreamin' 'bout the day when you wake up and find
That what you're looking for has been here the whole time
Today was Sunday, and Annabeth was getting ready to go to the swim meet. Percy had invited her last week and she was not going to miss the chance of seeing him win. Annabeth had never been so nervous. The reason is because she was going to a swim meet for the first time. She never knew how the meet goes on and she did not want to make a joke of herself in front of other schools. She wore a plain black t-shirt with white jeans. It was not grand, but was not that bad either. She even packed her bag with a water bottle and some snacks, in case she was bored.
Annabeth never knew how to swim. She was scared of water. Percy knew that, he even tried to teach Annabeth how to swim, but it did not help her. Her fear for water would always overpower. In spite this Percy did not judge her, he always found out her positive points and ignored the negative points. She loved Percy for that. People would always find out the black point in a white sheet, but Percy defied it. He decided to ignore it. And let me tell you, this is not an easy job. Annabeth respected that nature of Percy. Everything in Percy made Annabeth more attracted to him. She tried to find faults in him, but except being stupid, she did not find one flaw. He was perfect in every way and complemented Annabeth's nature very well. She so badly wanted him to break up with Drew, so that she could stand a chance.
When it was 11 am, she left towards her school. The meet would start at 12, so she decided to be half an hour early. When she reached her school it was 11:30 am. She went and sat near her friend Piper. Piper was the lead in theatre along with her boyfriend Jason, who was Percy's best friend.
"Hey Piper!" I greeted that brunette haired woman.
"Hey Anna, you came to see Percy?" She asked. Piper knew about Annabeth's crush on Percy. She even helped Annabeth go on dates with Percy. But Percy being an idiot he was, did not get any of the signs. Annabeth decided to give up, but Piper never gave up. She loved her best friend for that reason. She had the determination of a Lion. She would be a perfect Gryffindor, Annabeth thought. She later mentally face-palmed. Annabeth had a habit of relating people with book characters or quoting their lines. These were the perks of being a fangirl. People would think that she was weird, but she did not care.
Annabeth was in her dream world, when the coach blew his whistle. Annabeth could see Percy and his team mates as well as the other school's teams. Goode had been winning the swim meet since Percy became the captain. Annabeth would tease Percy by calling him a fish. But deep inside her heart, she knew that Percy was a skilled swimmer and would reach great heights.
They started with welcoming the chief guests. And after wishing the players good luck, they started with a relay. Percy was at the end. The reason was in case their team was lagging, Percy could make it up. In the corner of her eye, she could see Drew cheering for their team. Of course, the Queen bee of Goode high school was the captain of the cheerleading team. And this was one of the reasons why she told that Percy and her were a perfect couple. Drew had a perfect body, beautiful face, lovey smile and was rich. Despite all these she had a corrupt, disgusting heart. Even Piper was rich, but despite that fact, she never tried to show off. In fact she was Tristan McLean's daughter. That is the reason why Annabeth loved Piper.
She could see Percy stretching. He was very muscular and this made everyone look at him. Annabeth was disgusted. Just because a guy was half naked, it does not mean that people would swoon over him in public. Annabeth agreed that Percy was hot, but never admitted it. It would just increase Percy's ego.

The reason I have posted soo many chapters is because I will be going on hiatus till 28-12-20. I am sorry that I couldn't join you for Christmas- but I have to go to my grandma's house.
