Mrs Ahlam

It was a painful nine months journey with mood swings and different cravings which my husband always fulfilled, he never let me feel like I was burden in fact the moment I said it was handed to me.

I smiled at the little baby girl who was sleeping peacefully, so tiny, so innocent, as if nothing else mattered at moment I still remember how I informed nm y husband and how he jumped with excitement, and since day one how he handled all purchases of the baby, all the clothes, all the toys, he even went and distributed sweets to almost in the whole town, nine months we're painful but it's outcome was worth SubhanAllah.

Girls are blessing, unfortunately many don't realize that.

Girls have the right to fulfill their dreams.

Please don't compare them with others.

I smiled at my husband who sat on the floor and slept right next to the baby and tears of joy flewed from my eyes.

"What are you thinking of dear wife?" His voice removed me from my thoughts and I didn't even realize when he sat next to me.

"Just how lucky we are to have this little angel in our lives and how blessed she is to have such an amazing dad, such amazing and wonderful grandparents who will love her to the moon and back such loving person like Hania," I informed him and he nodded in acceptance.

"Such a loving mother," he admitted with a smile on his face and grabbed my right hand, he kissed my forehead.

When you have such loving family, you will even forget all of your pain and worries.

"Thank you for coming in my life and completing my family, for blessing us with this little innocent beautiful girl," he told me in low voice and cupped my face, we stared at each other with teary eyes remembering all that we have gone through till now. How our bond became strong after our mistakes, after our hardships, after all the drama.

I wiped his tears and he did same for me, together we thanked Allah for running us and bringing this little angel in our life.

"No more tears as this is just the beginning, so what will we name her?" He asked and waited while he looked at her with so much love
Love of father and daughter is just beyond words. Mostly daughters are close to their fathers, or am I wrong?

"Shouldn't we give this right to your parents?" I asked once again and he looked at me with surprised look. Did I say something wrong?

"You are amazing and everything else but this time even they have said you have right to name our first child so dear wife what do you suggest?" He asked again, why me?we should suggest together.

"Alayna?"I asked and he agreed as Alayna is a good name, it means blessed or beautiful but these were just our thoughts as we still have to inform his parents. Everyone has the right to know and think of name which will be meant for our little one.

A soft knock removed us from our thoughts and there stood Hania with smile, she has been wanting to carry little girl since an hour now but she has been sleeping, I used to be so afraid of carrying little kids, they are so fragile.

Reduce your volume dear sister,"my husband silenced her before she could even spoke and she folded her arms and asked for my support.

I gestured her to come and sit next to me in silence, since little one slept just now.
