During breakfast, everyone was so awkward to one another. Lucas and Maggie still weren't speaking. I'm pretty sure Lorelai has a thing for both brothers so she's been a little confused and quiet.
Beau-"Hey everyone!" Beau took a seat next to Wyatt and across from me. Wyatt looked at him and scooted away from him.
Jeannette-"Hey! How's your morning?"
Beau-"It's going well, how's yours?"
Jeannette-"Yeah it's great."
Lucas-"I'm not hungry." He got up and walked away.
Wyatt-"Me neither" He followed and soon all the guys were gone.
Beau-"Why are they being weird?"
Lorelai-"Their guys. Who ever knows why they do what they do."
Jeannette-"Okay listen up, after dinner I want you all to meet me in the library okay?"
Maggie-"What for?"
Jeannette-"Just promise you'll be there. Plus we need to show Beau some things.."
Beau-"Things?"
Abigail-"Ohhh!"
Jeannette-"Yeah but no one can hear about it okay? So I'll wait for you in the back..I'll get changed and meet you then."
Beau-"Okay I'll be there."
I walked out to the forest and of course, Malfoy was already there.
Gilbert-"Ohhh-.."
Jeannette-"I'm not late! You're early." I pointed at him.
Gilbert-*Chuckles* "I wasn't going to say that."
Jeannette-"Oh..what were you going to say?"
Gilbert-"Nothin."
*Gilbert's POV*
I was going to say that. Only as a joke, but it's funnier if she's thinks she was wrong.
Gilbert-"Those are the shoes you chose today?" She looked down to them.
Jeannette-"Yeah, what's wrong with them?"
Gilbert-"No, nothing unless you're borrowing them from your Nans wardrobe."
Jeannette-"Piss of Malfoy, have you nothing nice to say about anything? Can't you just be nice for one day?"
Gilbert-"It's just a joke, If I were you I'd shop for some new ones."
Jeannette-"Wow thanks!" She rolled her eyes and looked away.
Gilbert-"You're welcome, now where's my tip?"
Jeannette-"Oh you want a tip? Here's one, try not being such a tosser all the time."
Gilbert-"Well I guess if you're not giving me a tip...I won't take yours either."
*Jeannette's POV*
I rolled my eyes.
Jeannette-"So did you find anything last night?"
Gilbert-"Well, before I say anything have you noticed I didn't let anything bad happen to the diary?"
Jeannette-"I get it Gilbert, you're responsible with books, thanks...so did you?"
Gilbert-"Yes, look..." He flipped to a page.
Jeannette-"What?"
Gilbert-"It says a clue was once somewhere high..." I looked up the tree and instantly began to climb it. "Crikey, what are you doing..?"
