*Chapter Five*

James-"So where is Harrison anyway?"

Will-"He and Lorelai went to the library to study"

Wyatt-"Do you suppose their actually studying?" They cracked a laugh and James took a puff of the joint.

Will-"Probably not" he smiled.

James-"Mate this is weird, how do you smoke this rubbish?" He handed the joint to Wyatt.

Wyatt-"I'm just used to it man, anyway I never really liked it when I first started either. Luc?"

Lucas-"Hm?" Lucas was deep in his thoughts, He knew that he loved Maggie..he just never thought about what it would be like if they actually kissed.

Wyatt-"You alright mate? Why are you so quiet?"

Lucas-"How do you think Harrison is so good with girls?"

Will-"What are you on about?"

Lucas-"I mean like, how do all of the girls come to him so easily? What does he do?"

Will-"I don't really think he does anything honestly..their like leaches though, I swear to Merlin every-time I see him in the hallway there's some girl up his a*s. Why are you asking?"

James-"Yeah what's going on with you..you've been so distant the entire night." His mates looks at him waiting to answer. James took another puff of the joint while Lucas just stared at his chocolate. Wyatt put his arm over Lucas.

Lucas-"Well, I kissed Maggie and it was great right. But some sh*t happened and now she hates me."

Wyatt-"Did you use tongue?"

Lucas-"Yeah" he said shaking his head.

James-"Bruv he doesn't want to tell you visuals" James laughed and put out the joint. Wyatt held up his arms as he watched.

Wyatt-"Oi I wasn't done with that! And piss off it was just a bloody question. So do you think she didn't like or something?"

Lucas-"You think that could be it!?" He sat up and turned towards him.

James-"I think that you should maybe do it again? To make sure that she liked it.."

Lucas-"Really?"

Wyatt-"I don't know but..maybe she wanted it to last longer"

Lucas-"Sh*t I just don't get it. What do you think Will?" William had already fallen asleep on Lucas' shoulder. "Look at this Bloak, already fast asleep." He chuckled.

Wyatt-"Well there goes that, Mr 'I'm going to be the last to fall asleep'"

Lucas-"I guess I can try it again?"

Jeannette-"Or It could be the fact that you kissed Corinna, then had the audacity to kiss her in the same night, not to mention you did it randomly." I had been listening to their conversation quietly in the doorway behind them. "Crickey have you guys been smoking?"

Lucas-"But it didn't even mean anything, Corinna means nothing to me, and I didn't even know that Maggie saw that." He said ignoring her question.

Jeannette-"You guys really know nothing. I mean have you even apologized about it, Like properly said sorry..that's all she wants is to talk to you she never stops talking about you Luc."

James-"Yeah? you should hear this one..never stops going on and on about Maggie"

Lucas-"Piss off" Said Lucas, picking up a pillow and tossing it at James' head. "Ask her..ask her..how should I do that, I don't even know what to say."

Jeannette-"Look, you and Maggie have known each other for ages! Just go about it like a normal conversation, just be yourself and ease your way into it after a little while. Just ask her to hang out and then bring it up."

Lucas-"Okay, you're positive it will work?"

Jeannette-"It's worth a shot" He shook his head yes. I'd never seen Lucas so flustered before.

James-"Where have you been? We were looking for you all day?"

Jeannette-"I was just taking a walk...we've got school tomorrow so don't stay up to late."

James-"Whatever Mum." I rolled my eyes and walked into my room. That night I fell asleep with the book in my hands.
