It was Sid who broke the silence. "I am sorry," he said all of a sudden.

I was taken aback a bit."You are sorry? For what? I don't understand."

"I am sorry Dhruv, for not trusting you, for hiding certain things from you."

"Hide things? Cummom Sid. So what? We all have our personal lives, we each need our private space. There's no need to apologize for it."

"There is. When it could effect our friendship."

"What do you mean?"

"There are certain things that had happened to me, has been happening for a while, that I initially chose not to share with you. I thought that it was personal. I was away for so long, thinking, whatever it was, I alone had to deal with it. But, having kept it from you, having to store this much stuff inside me, its nauseating."

"I do. As I should always have. I am going to tell you everything. But-", he stopped hesitatingly.

"But what?"

"Promise me you wont think ill of me after hearing it?" His voice was almost pleading.

"I won't. I can't ever judge you. Even you know that. We're best mates afterall," I said, putting my arm around his shoulder. "Now go on. Lighten up your heart. I am all ears. Maybe after you're done, I too might have one or two secrets to share with you."

"What is it?"

"I'll tell you. But first, you tell me whatever you have to say."

"Um- okay," he said and began.
