i took a long shower and went to sit on the chair near the mirror to dry my wet hair.
after drying it, i took out my makeup box and added some concealer , a touch of the blush on my cheekbones..put some mascara on my eyes and some moisturizer on my lips before proceeding to put a little bit of lip gloss.
i wore a grey fluffy oversized sweatshirt and high waisted black lululemon and i put my hair in a high loose pony tail and let my bangs rest on the side of my face.
i took my nicely prepared kimchi stew out of the fridge , i was an expert at making it and everybody loved it so i decided to make it for the dinner.
i packed it in a tablecloth and put it on a table and started to put the nessecary items in my bag.my charger(check), a pack of tissues(check) lip balm(check),waterbottle and snacks(check),hand sanitizer(check), a hair tie just in case. all right , everything is done.
great. i took out my phone to text jackson that ill be there in 10 minutes and took my coat . i wore high knitted boots and took my keys and put my lock on.
i reached my car and drove off to my parent's house.
"Hiiii" , i opened the door to be greeted by my mom hugging me.i kissed her cheeks to which she smiled showing off her dimples.
"im not late am i " i giggle to which she chuckled . "of course not dear , the dinner will be served in about 20 minutes."
i smiled warmly and took off my jacket to hang it . i went to the kitchen to see my grandma and pa sitting on the chair chatting with my dad.i rushed to them almost slipping because of my socks.
"hi grandma and pa , its been so long , i missed you" , i went to hug both of them and grandma looked surprised .
" my goodness , you have grown so much , the last time i saw ..you were a small child " . i chuckled.
"goodness , grandpa , you just saw me 7 months ago , i havent changed that much".he laughed quietly .
"oh my , you have grown very thin , havent they been feeding my poor child any food , you have become bones", grandma held me protectively whilst staring at my parents.
"what to do ma , she has changed a lot .. she doesn't eat very much like before ,but she is healthy". my mom sighed and looked at me.
"ah yes mom , i have prepared kimchi stew ", i suddenly remembered it and went to take my stew. i scolded myself for being so careless.
"oh dear , you shouldn't have " my dad looked at me and i grinned and gave him the big wooden pot.
"no its okay , i know everyone loves it , i have prepared a lot for it to last for a week" . i smiled reassuringly and my dad kept it in the fridge.
"ill be going upstairs okay" , grandma nodded sweetly and i rushed upstairs to see jackson.
i bust the door open to see a startled jackson and ...jimin.
"aish geez donkey , dont need to break the door , now i lost because of you". jackson sighed as he focused back on his game.
geez monkey , don't need to be so rude on thanksgiving day gosh" , i rolled my eyes and turned back to jimin.
he approached with a hug and slung his arms around my shoulders bringing me closer to him.
"where were you , i have been waiting for you cutie". he smiled angelically and i just smiled back...i was used to his constant flirting.
jimin has always been in my house when we were younger that his clothes were always here and he practically lived here. we used to celebrate all the occasions together so it would be odd if he didn't come.
"jimin , don't flirt with my sister and stay a meter awar from her" , jackson said his eyes never leaving the screen.
"protective much?" , jimin exclaimed as he and i flopped on jackson's bed.
he chuckled" yeah right , i would sell her for a pack of gum but" , his eyes turned cold." i know what you're going to say , im not selling her to you".
"aww man , i really was going to give you some gum" , jimin playfully hit the bed.
"heyy , what type of brother are you , to sell me geez" , i punched his shoulder and he grinned.
everybody , dinner is ready ..come down" , my mom yelled from downstairs and jimin rushed downstairs practically dragging me.
he sat beside me and we started to eat. i gave kimchi stew to everyone and waited for them to say atleast something about my stew.
"wow , this tastes really good , im impressed" , grandpa took another sip of the stew.everyone complimented it and i felt happy.
"huh luna?" . i looked at him ."did u make this" , he pointed at the stew. i grinned .
"yes , i did . do you like it" , i asked curiously.
he chuckled." i knew it , there is some kind of unique taste when you make it so i figured it out easily". we both were in our own talk and jackson cleared his throat loudly.
"talking while eating is not good", i knew he was reffering it to us.
jimin groaned as he went back to eating and i giggled quietly.
the rest of the night went by with telling stories and overall chit chatting near the fireplace.
it felt like the olden times, when grandma and grandpa would sit by the couch telling stories whilst me , chim and jackson sat on the warm carpet listening intently to the intresting stories.
it would be late and me and chim would sneak out to our grandma and beg her to tell us stories.
one of my favorite moments in my childhood. now , it was late in the night and grandpa and grandma were talking quietly with each other near the fireplace , jackson was sitting on the couch playing games on his phone.
and chim was sitting beside me reading a book.
sometimes , when people talk quitely or just mutter something , it really soothes me down , it was the feeling you felt whe you have been watching tv for so long and the sounds coming from the tv felt relaxing as you dozed off on the couch.
and the orange light emitting from the fireplace made it so warm and cozy.
maybe it was the food or it was getting late but i started to doze off in the couch .
and there all of our minds layed in ease , yet full of warmth and sleepiness and i dozed off to dreamland.

hey everyone , i decided to make this part very warm and cozy type of feeling , just for family.i really like this part since it solely focused on family , i was planning to write this part about the party , i was listening to pretty thoughts by Galimatias & Alina Baraz and decided to make this part warmy type of feeling .
also how was the story overall? i would like to hear opinions for everyone hehe.
also planning to go on a update marathon , i got a lot of time in my hands now .
