Seungcheol's Point Of View
I run towards her weak figure. After she finished her race, I saw she tried to collect herself up after the long run. But when I saw her body went unstable, I know there's something bad about her condition.
"Erin!" I called out her name when she fainted all of sudden. I put her head on my lap and look around for help. Everyone is inside their own tent so there's no one who see us here.
'Damn it.. what if I didn't come here for her and followed the others into the tent, worrying about the other one of our runner that everyone paid attention to? No, I could never imagine it.'
I carry her bridestyle and run towards the paramedic tents.
"Please help my friend! She fainted after running just now!" I handed Erin to them.
They take her and give her a treatment while I'm leading my club members in the ending ceremony. Our club got a second place overall, so it's not that bad.
"Attention to the student who sent off Yoon Erin to the paramedic tent, please come to the sickbay right now."
The sudden announcement got me goosebump all over my body. I tell Jihoon to look over the club members as I run towards the sickbay. I saw the paramedics pushed Erin into an ambulance.
"Are you that guy? You should accompany her to the hospital for informing the doctor about her identity," the paramedic said.
So I thank him and step into the ambulance. I see her pale face and her hair scattered on her forehead.
"Jeez.. what happened to you actually? Why did you still run when you weren't in your best state?" I hold her hand, hoping for her to answer my question.
Miraculously, she opens her eyes slowly, still weak but she tried her best. The first thing she said made my heart dropped a bit.
"Ahjussi... I lost to you... You can ask me for a favor.. I already promised, right?" She said softly.
"Fxxk that bet of yours. We're not going to talk about it again in this state of yours," I said firmly.
She just let out a chuckle. "You can curse, huh?"
"Enough, we're almost there. Take a sleep and rest well," I said and closed her eyes to put her into a sleep.
"Thanks, Cheol-ssi. I know this is so sudden but I love you," she stirred in her sleep. She's too tired that cause her fast asleep.
My heart flutter a tad bit hearing the nickname she gave me plus the half-conscious confession. I stroke her hair softly as she gradually fell asleep.
You're keeping something from people around you, Erin. I will find it out one day, that will be my favor for you to grant.
