🔹Nineteen🔹
My heart dropped by looking at messy Mingyu right now. He's a crybaby but he doesn't show it instead since he believed that his grandma might be sad watching him cry. I slowly approach him from the back and hug him as I comfort him the usual way I had done before. I felt his shoulder goes up and down as he try to hold it back.
"Min, please don't be like this. Just let it out, I'm here right?" I uttered softly.
He turns around and hugs me like there's no tomorrow. He puts his head on my shoulder and sobs quietly.
"She's sick for a long time but I'm not looking after her properly. I'm the one who should be there, not her!" He wailing like a mad man.
"No, stop saying that. You're doing your best for taking care of her. Don't blame yourself and grandma will be alright. She's a strong woman, remember?" I caress his face softly, wiping away his tears.
He let out a painful smile. "Thanks," he muttered, almost like a whisper.
I smile to him and pat his head like a big puppy he is. "Wonwoo's outside. Go see him. I'll look after grandma," I said and pushed him outside.
Time passed by, the unexpected gloomy day come. Mingyu stands unwillingly beside his grandma's big picture that surrounded by the flowers. I welcome the guests who come to pay a respectful goodbye and mourning by grandma's death. I looked Mingyu who stands there in his black suit, putting his head down all the time.
"Won, can you replace me for awhile? I want to accompany Mingyu there. Thanks," I walked away after he nodded in agreement.
"Hey, you should take a rest. Your legs might be numb for standing too long," I approached him slowly.
His legs giving up that cause him to fall on his knees. He seems really pale so I help him to put him into another room to take a rest.
I hope he will be alright after getting some rest. I swear that I'll not leave him behind even he's not by my side all the time.
