Third Person's Point Of View
Today, Erin can attend school like usual. She got discharged yesterday after the doctor did some check-up on her. After the incident at the hospital, Seungcheol become a bit protective around Erin. He doesn't know why he should do that but he knew he's the one who had been given the responsibility by the God to protect her. That's why they were meant to have each other in this life.
"Seungcheol? What are you doing here?" She asked him when she stepped out from her doorstep.
"I'll walk you to school from today's onward," Seungcheol said, smile sheepishly. "Suddenly?" She chuckles. He nod to her question. "Let's go. We don't want to be late, are we?" He tugged at her side bag and pull her close to his side.
"Oooh~ Lovebirds, since when?" Seokmin asked them, glaring playfully at their linked hands. "I just pulled her to force her to attend school today. She's so stubborn, aish this kid," Seungcheol replied meanwhile Erin's eyes widening. "I don't know you're the stubborn type, Erin. By the way, the club members is missing you, you should show up on this evening meeting." Seokmin walked away after said those things.
"How long did I gone that make them miss me?" She asked, look up to Seungcheol for an answer. "More than a week, maybe?" "That's quiet long." She got amazed by it.
There's a time she get to face Mingyu after the club meeting that evening. It's quiet awkward because it's been a long time since they had their conversation. "I know it's not my right to ask you anything because you made your decision before to choose her over this friendship. But, didn't you consider me as your friend anymore? I.. miss the old us," She uttered it while her sight glued on the floor.
Mingyu stay silence. "I'm sorry. I-" his words got cut off when his phone make a notification sound. "-I need to go. Serin needs me right now," He said and dashed through the open door as if Serin is in an emergency situation.
Erin stand still on the rooftop, let herself got blew by the cold wind. She smiles painfully, "Maybe I'm just not worth it," she chuckled after thought about it.
At the same, Seungcheol wants to show Erin the new song that he and Jihoon had worked on but she nowhere to be found. He see Mingyu is passing by, so he stops him for awhile to ask about Erin.
"Mingyu, do you perhaps saw Erin? I didn't found her though," Seungcheol asked him. "I just met her on the rooftop but I needed to leave her right away because something urgent came up. I'm going first hyung," Mingyu ran passed by him.
When Seungcheol get to process everything in his mind, he knew that he failed to protect her on the first day he promised to himself.
"Shit."
