the last chapter: I ran downstairs and into the kitchen to see twelve sets of eyes today.
I slow down my pace once I enter the kitchen acting oblivious to the sets of eyes on me. I pour myself a cup of coffee and sit down at the table.
"hello how was whatever the heck you guys were doing last night I see none of you suffered any major or fatal injures," I say after what seems like an hour but really just mere minutes Luka speaks up.
"no, no one is harmed as you can see but you should see the other guys." all of the boys seem to chuckle at this. I lock eyes at Enzo trying to read his emotions I know the last night they wouldn't just leave minor injures most likely most of the men they saw are dead. Enzo notices my stair and gives me a look saying 'everything went well' I give a curt nod. none of my other brothers seem to notice our exchange. I give a cough turning the attention back to me.
"sooo my best friend is moving to new york and I was wondering if maybe he can stay at our house while his furniture and stuff are moved," I say rapidly hoping they passed over the part were I mentioned Jace was a he, but karma deciding to screw me over every chance she got to decide now was the time for my brothers to notice that my best friend was in fact male. Enzo loos at me staring at my soul before responding.
"so your friend is coming to new york I need to know a couple of things." I give him a nod while he continues. "how old is he, the relationship between you too, name, when you met/ how long you've known each other, and when is he coming," Enzo asks while none of my other brothers speak.
"His name is Jace Moreno, he's the same age as me, know him for about six years, no relationship other than friends, and I think he's coming in around a month." Enzo looks like he's thinking about the information I just gave him.
"he can come aI suppose ill look into him also we need to talk about school so after you finish breakfast come to my office," I say ok in agreement while he leaves and soon after all of my brothers leave leaving me and Andrew together. he pushes his chair back and stands up before looking at me and saying.
"check how many reads your story has its skyrocketed also post a new chapter." then he leaves me alone with my own thoughts. I think about everything that has happened so far but before I get too immersed in my head I pull out my phone and text Jace.
Rosey: my brothers said you can stay at our house
Jacey: that's amazing I'm psyched ill be there in about two and a half weeks.
Rosey: ok bye gtg love and miss you bestie.
I put my phone down, put my cup in the sink, and head upstairs to Enzos's office.
