And even though I may be the freak show, she still stays by my side. It doesn't matter whether or not I'm a loner , she still would stay by my side. That's something I love about Evelyn. She's so sweet and kind, I admire her confidence. How does she do it? She really is amazing. And I'm her best friend.

"Have you gotten your schedule yet?" Evelyn asked.

"Oh..No not yet"

"Alright then! Come with me" she stood up and took my hand.

Evelyn had started walking towards the school entrance, pulling me along. I was just about to say something when something caught my eye. A boy, he was sitting by a tree holding his hand out to a stray cat. I turned back to look at Evelyn but as soon as I turned my head around to where the boy was he was gone.

I blinked but he wasn't there. Evelyn pulled me inside the school and then into the front office.

"Hello..! I'm here to pick up my friends schedule. She missed the orientation" Evelyn was speaking to the woman in front of the desk.

"I see, Whats your name?" The woman turned her head to me an asked.

"Oh..It's Mi-.." I started but then I was cut off.

"Mira Zachariye!" Evelyn responded.

"Mira..-Zachariye was it?" The woman asked

"Yes" Evelyn responded

Evelyn had done it again, doing things for me. Not that I wasn't used to it, and to be honest I was thankful. Because she saved me from having to socialize. I'm not the person to really like socializing. And so as a kid Evelyn used to speak for me , like she knew my thoughts. I was always thankful for her doing so. But I have learned to speak for myself, I guess I'm just stubborn and don't want to.

The woman printed up my schedule and handed it to Evelyn and I, we thanked the woman and left the building, Sitting back at the bench we were at before. Evelyn took out her schedule and began comparing it to mine.

"seems like we have some classes together. Hey your taking a art class, I thought you didn't like taking art classes?" Evelyn Questioned

"oh, my dad convinced me to do it. He said it would be helpful for me to take a class." I responded

Evelyn seemed surprised, I wasn't much of a fan of art classes because of the teachers I've had in the past and the style I have wasn't considered.

"Congratulations." She said

"Thanks..."

I don't know what concerned me more, the boy I saw before and then Disappeared when I looked back at him , or how fast Evelyn had eaten a Cinnamon roll. She turned to me and offered me one, though it wasn't really offering me one she forced me to eat it. Holding me down by the shoulder and then shoving the cinnamon roll into my mouth. Of which by the way, I had choked on and was leaning over the bench rail coughing. While I'm coughing Evelyn was busy laughing, I had finally caught my breath. Grabbing my water bottle I took a few gulps of water to flush the rest of the roll down. Evelyn scarfed down another one and then looked at me and started laughing again.

"What's funny about me choking on a Roll!?" I said tense and bothered by how she thought it was funny.
