Slade opened the storage room door and Max pulled him inside. They closed the door as Slade blocked the door with an old chair. Max undressed Slade and pressed him to the wall while he got the condom. He slid inside his lover and moaned.

Slade moaned with him and he begged Max for more. Max gave him everything. They finished together as Max held on. "Was that okay?"

Slade laughed into the wall. "Fuck! Yes, Max, it was okay!" That was full of sarcasm. "It was the best sex I have ever had and I think we should switch!" Slade spun Max to the wall and enjoyed his lover as they both moaned.

Max melted down the wall and sat. "That was good, Slade."

"I know." Slade smiled. "Are you okay?"

Max laughed. "I am so okay or I will never be okay again!" He was in love but he wasn't saying it. It was way too soon for that word and he had no business thinking it.

Slade smiled. "Let's get dressed and listen to some music that I hope you like. Oh, that song you heard at your house is on the album."

"I love that song!" Max smiled. "Are you singing that one or Solis?"

Slade smiled. "I'm singing that one. It's the first time I sing alone. We agreed. They were excited to get me out away from the drums. I'm playing the piano and singing, alone. When we are on stage, it will be intimidating!"

Slade smiled. "I can't wait. Also, I wrote a song for you but I want to wait and see if you pick it out." Slade smiled. "It's about suffering through the wrong ones before finding the right one."

"I came back here and wrote all week. I have never been in such a great mood but I still managed to write hate songs. It's the only new song that made it to the album. The others aren't ready but most of the next album is written."

"Okay, Slade that is impressive and I don't even know what I should say! You are amazing. We better get dressed." Max stood up but Slade pressed him to the wall.

"One more time!" Slade smiled and bit Max's ear. He leaned into Max as he slowly lowered him to the floor. He slid onto Max and kissed slowly and got turned on. They both moaned quietly as they finished together. Slade loved that he could talk to Max about work.

"Where are they?" Hurley looked at his phone. "I thought you said they were coming from the diner? That was what? Forty minutes ago?"

Graham laughed. "I don't know."

Slade led Max into the recording studio and sat. "Sorry, we're late."

Graham sighed. "We were worried. You should have called. Kennedy was searching the parking lot!"

Slade looked down. "Uh, we were in the storage room." Max looked down too.

"Here?" Hurley stared.

Solis laughed with Terry. "Slade! You were in the storage room?" He had just gotten there. He was running late also but he had errands to run. He forgot about the storage room or he would've told the guys. That was his bad.

Terry glared. "Man! We called three times!"

"I know. We were busy!" Slade laughed. "I'm sorry. I'm calling Kennedy to apologize."

"You should be ashamed. Where would you even get that idea!" Terry glared.

"Solis." Hurley and Graham both said at the same time.

Max just laughed and covered his face.

"You should be ashamed of yourself, Max!" Graham teased.

Max cleared his throat. "I really am!"

Solis chuckled. "Forty minutes?"

Slade was back. "I didn't...it didn't seem like it was that long!"

"I didn't see your bike?" Terry was confused.

"I parked in the back, it was closer to the storage room." Slade winked at Terry. Terry chuckled.

Solis laughed. He never saw Slade like this. He never kept a person for longer than two weeks. It was good sex and they were gone. Max was different.

"So, Slade, get your man some headphones. Come on. We're waiting on you!" Solis glared but there was a smile in his eyes.

Slade glared back. "If I didn't just have the best sex in that closet, I would hit you." He handed Max headphones and sat close.

Max smiled as he listened to the songs. He heard that gorgeous song that Slade sang then he heard the song. According to the list it was number ten. No Heart. It was a hate song about finding the wrong person to love, consistently. Max knew that was about Slade.

He looked at Slade at the end of the song. "That song and I love it."

Slade nodded. The rest of the band stared because they had no idea what that was about. Solis smiled. Slade was in love. He knew that.
