Max sped to the airport and the next thing he knew, Slade was in his car and they were at the house. Slade was at his house. Max tried to relax and calm down. He loved hanging out with Slade. He felt lighter.

"I am exhausted!" Slade yawned. "Good night. Sorry, I will see you in the morning." He hugged Max and walked up the stairs.

"Sweet dreams, Slade." Max smiled. Slade was at his house and Max was so happy.

Max made a late breakfast as Slade tripped down the stairs. He was wearing sweatpants, barely and Max dropped the spatula he was holding as his eyes hovered at Slade's low waistline.

"Good morning. Dropped something." Slade smiled and sat on a stool. He saw the look that Max just had. Max definitely checked him out and Slade got goosebumps.

"Right." Max almost didn't notice that he even dropped the spatula. He tossed it in the sink and took a breath. "Lunch?"

"Starving." Slade smiled.

Max was wearing a pair of sexy torn jeans that Slade bought for him. He spent a couple of minutes checking out Max's ass. The jeans were perfect on him. They sat low on his waist and hugged his ass just perfectly. He ogled as his eyes slid down the jeans to his long legs and back up. He cleared his throat as Max turned around. "So, what are we doing today?"

"Uh, you are teaching me how to use my phone." Max smiled. He set a mug of coffee on the counter for Slade.

They ate in silence. Max had visions of Slade in almost nothing. He was hot. Max almost drooled. He had to take a breath to calm down.

Slade smiled as he noticed the flowers. "You brought the flowers home?" He pointed at them with his fork.

"Oh, I did. I wanted to enjoy them over the weekend and the office kept bugging me about them!" Max smiled. "They are pretty."

"They are." Slade smiled at Max. Max bent his head down and looked at his plate and almost moaned. Slade was thrilled that Max kept the flower. It was encouraging. He could have given them away or tossed them but he brought them home. This was promising.

"Oh, how was the concert?" Max had to change the subject.

"Good. Lots of screaming fans. Loud, as you know." Slade smiled. "The last concert for a while. It was a great way to end our tour. We had a lot of fun."

"And now you are sitting at my house where nothing happens!" Max sighed. "This has to be boring for you. I mean you come from a screaming crowd to this." He waved at the quiet house.

Slade smiled. "It's nice. I love it here, Max. This is the place where I can relax. I love peace and quiet."

"I love being here with you. Normally, when the tour ends, we hide in our houses for a week. We don't talk or call. I think we all need a break for each other and all of the noise. This is perfect. Does that make sense?"

"Yes, actually. I get it. I'm glad that I could help you out." Max smiled. He was thrilled that Slade wanted to be there.

They sat on the couch after Slade got dressed much to Max's relief and disappointment. He was conflicted. Clothes were better because Max could concentrate but those sweats were sexy.

Max was beside Slade as Slade set up Max's account and got him some songs. He played with the TV and it played them too. Max was shocked. Slade laughed at him.

"You are a caveman!" Slade teased. "Now, do you have a favorite?"

"Uh, I'm afraid to say what it is because...what if you didn't write it!" Max stared.

"We all write them, Max. It's always a group effort." Slade reassured him. "Which one?"

"The third one down. Dime me out." Max smiled. "I love that song...is that okay?"

Slade smiled. "I..yes...I wrote that one. The lyrics and the music. This one is mine."

Max inhaled. "Good! I was afraid I would pick the one that you didn't have anything to do with. You aren't lying to make me feel better, are you?"

Slade pulled out his phone. He dialed and hit the speaker. "Please say you are calling from a bed somewhere!" Solis was on the phone.

"No! Question. Who wrote the song, Dime Me Out?" Slade watched Max for any fear.

"Oh, sorry. You did, why? Are you arguing? Where are you?" Solis sighed. "Oh, please say you are with Max."

"Hello, Solis. It was my favorite song and I wanted to make sure not to offend Slade." Max was worried and tried to ignore Solis's comment. He was trying not to think that Slade talked to his brother about him. He got goosebumps and was thrilled. His heart was out of control, again.

"The only way you could offend him is if you refused to su..." Solis was gone because Slade hung up and glared at the phone.

"So..." Slade hit play and they listened to the song. Max laid back and enjoyed everything. The music and Slade's presence. Slade sat beside him. He was relaxed. "Thanks for ignoring my brother."

Max just laughed and nodded.

The week flew by. This was like all of his other weeks but Slade was a huge change and Max loved having him at his house. Slade was there every morning with breakfast and every night with dinner on the table, mostly take out but Max didn't care. There was always music and conversations. Max finally understood why people fell in love.
