Faith is one of the most powerful resources that God has provided for us whereby to receive His Abundant Life in our lives here on earth.
It is through faith that we secure those things which God has predestined for our lives to obtain. Faith brings Heaven to earth, unveils God's dreams and unleashes His Power to bring them into being!
It is the Christians closest ally on earth and it operates by direct inspiration of the Spirit and working in conjunction with our prayers.
WHAT IS TRUE FAITH?
Faith is one of the most powerful, but also one of the most misunderstood and abused gifts that we as Christians have received from God.
It is powerful because it has the ability to bring Heaven to earth and to perform the supernatural in a natural world. It has the ability to unlock the Power of God and to demonstrate His Living supernatural attributes in the midst of a natural world. It is misunderstood because people are constantly on a mission to employ its power to work for themselves, rather than for God.
It is abused because many Christians use faith to serve their own purposes and aim to employ it to bring them what they crave to possess and to gratify the desires of their flesh.
Most people today do not realize that faith is never something that comes to serve us. It has not been given to be in service of our lives, but has come to enable us to stand in service of God and to be able to work out His purposes for our lives here on earth.
Faith was never given so that we could “get what we want” from Heaven, but it was given to do quite the opposite! It was given so that we may receive what God has already predestined for our lives to have and wherein we were called to walk on this earth.
Faith never operates independently from God's will. It serves His will! It never acts alone, it always acts in harmony with Him in performing those things He has already willed to happen on earth and in the lives of those who serve Him on earth.
To have true faith and to truly walk by faith, we need to know and to walk in God's will for our lives and to be guided in His will by His Holy Spirit.
HOW DO WE OBTAIN TRUE FAITH?
True faith is not something we work up within ourselves. It is always something that comes as a result of revelation from God.
