Created to be Extra-ordinary! (Walking in the Miraculous)
Abundant Living in simple words would best be described as “living an extraordinary Life”. When we begin living in the realms of the Spirit, we are lifted up to soar high above this dusty old world with all of its temptations and sin and we are elevated into a Higher Life of the Spirit, where we find ourselves soaring in the Presence of God around His Throne! In these Heavenly Realms of Life and Worship, we enter into God's domain of Life and from there we begin living our lives in the dimension of the unusual and the extraordinary! We enter the Life-realm of living in the inexplicable, the unusual and the supernatural, where things happen in our lives which leaves others in awe of God and of His Wondrous ways working in us and through our lives. God has always sought to make Himself known through the lives of His children.
He takes delight therein for us to share His Life, and to delight ourselves in experiencing His Marvels!
The more I write, the more I see that Christianity is not about anything else – Except Life! It is real and authentic and it draws us into the Light of His Life, becoming more real and evident in us everyday. I think of Paul and his greatest desire. He wanted nothing more and nothing less than to be filled with all of God's Life to be expressed in him, more and more everyday. It was his soul-desire to “die daily”, so that Christ might be made Alive in him and be made all the more visible in being expressed through his life. The whole New Testament and the church of Acts speaks of only one thing and that is God's Life – Demonstrated in men and women in whom He could be brought to Life and through whom He could manifest His Life-giving Power, and Life! We as Christians have been called to one singular purpose and that is to showcase the Life of Jesus Christ, made Alive in us to be demonstrated through us to a dying world! That is our ONE SINGULAR MISSION AND SINGULAR GOAL – That JESUS might be seen ALIVE in us and through us may be made known to this world. That is the ONE COMMISSION we have received from Heaven. “Go and witness” (Show forth! – And be living testimonies!) of His Life. Each Christian should have a testimony of God's Life working exceptionally and extraordinarily through their lives and each Christian should be a living testimony of His Life being put on display everyday! We are called to live Abundantly, above and beyond, to walk in the Higher Realms of the Spirit and to demonstrate to the world what it does not know, what has never fallen upon their ears and what has never been thought to be possible. We were called to live and demonstrate God's Abundant Life. His Life of Miracles and extraordinary Wonders, working Powerfully through us. The world wants to believe, and in order for them to believe they need to see God. God has called us to be His living showcase to the world, wherein they may see Him, know Him and be drawn to His Light. In this darkened world we are no less than Heaven's Lighthouses, filled with the Light of the Spirit, filled with the Life of God, to display to the world, a God they do not know and have never seen. God wants to display Himself through His people and He does so by Living His Extraordinary and Abundant Power-Life in and through them on earth!
Think for a moment of Peter passing by on the street. When he passed by the Overshadowing Power of God fell on the sick, as his shadow fell on them. He lived so deep and so intertwined with the Spirit, that God's Shadow became his shadow! Think of the impact as the sick were raised from their beds in broad daylight by the Life of God made manifest and put on display through this man's life. Think of the Reality of a Living God being demonstrated for the whole world to see!
