Chapter 2 - A Bloody Chapter

CHAPTER 2

Chapter two

It' been 2 days since i began taking the pills. I don't feel any different on the inside..

However the side effects are really kicking in! It probably wasn't a good idea to go for run. I thought to myself. I had just done two laps around a large local lake, it was quite early in the morning so there was barely anyone there. I was about to start my third lap when my head began pounding. I started to feel blood build up in my head, a ringing noise in my ear and i began to get really dizzy. And just there i collapsed on the spot. 

Once i hit the ground, my head stopped pounding and the ringing stopped.

What just happened?! I got up and decided to walk the rest, I began walking and after a few steps, a girl came running towards me.

'hey! Oh my god are you okay!?' What is she talking about, there was no one around when i fell! How does she know?

'Just fine, why'd you ask?'

'why do i ask? Look at your leg!!'

I looked down to see that my leg was gushing with blood. When i fell i must of scraped it on the floor and torn away my flesh! How did i not feel that? 

'Oh my god should i call an ambulance?' The girl said extremely concerned. I don't think she had even recognized me. Oh but why should she? Im the irrelevant member of the band. 

'No il be fine i don't want to attract any attention in the media' i said calmly and carried on walking

'Niall, you should probably rest your leg'

My heart jumped. She does recognize me. I stopped and turned to face her, she gestured towards the bench. I smiled slightly and followed her to it.

'You really should cover that up before it gets infected' She looked at my leg full of concern. It actually calmed me down knowing that someone actually cares so much

'Have you by any chance got a bandage on you?' Wow. What a stupid thing to reply Niall. Wow yes. Im sure she just casually carries around bandage in case she runs into a clumsy boy like me.

'Errrm no' she said rummaging through her bag 'but that seriously needs to get covered up! I know how to fix it! ' she brightened up 'Im going to need you to look away though,'

'Why?' I couldn't help but laugh

'Just do it!' 

And so i did. I heard here rummaging through her back and then i felt something on my cut, so she does have a bandage?

'Okay you can look now! Don't hate me, it had to be done, your leg depended on it!'

I turned back and as soon as i saw it my head shot back with laughter, and so did hers. We laughed for about two whole minutes before i got my breathe back to speak

'I- waas not expecting that!' I carried on laughing 

She has plastered up my leg with a pad! I had a period pad stuck on my leg

'Your welcome!' She laughed back ' i should become a doctor don't you think?' She laughed and glanced at her watch 'shit, i'm late! I really have to go, hope your leg gets better!'

'Wait! I said almost instantly 'whats your name?'

'Why?'

'Well all i know about you right now is that your a pad person and not a tampon person' we both laughed

'Hailey ' 

'Hailey, what a beautiful name!'

We ended up talking for an extra ten minutes and eventually we exchanged phone numbers

'Ah okay i really gotta go!' She said glancing at her watch

'Alright see ya' I gave her a quick hug and with that she was gone.

I looked down at the pad hanging on my leg and i couldn't help but smile and think that I may have just found my princess.
