Can you hear the thump of my heart beating?
Wild and furious. Why wont it calm down?
It's not my anxiety,
Now a days I'm not feeling much.
Yet i feel the thunder of my heart beating.
Im hyper aware of it.
Thump thump thump.
Why an i feeling this?
Im too numb to try to comprehend whats happening,
But I want to know what is causing this furious thump.
Buzz buzz
What is that?
Buzz buzz
I look down, my phone lighting up.
My heart thumps even more furious
Thump thump thump thump
It's you
You of all people
I smile
Butterflies erupt form my racing heart, fluttering in my tummy
You
You are the cause of my thumping heart
It's alive when you are around
Please dont kill it
It is in your hands
Even if you don't realize it
You cause me to feel like a human
You make me feel alive
Your goofy pictures
Your smile
Your eyes
You
Thump thump thump
That's my heart beating wildly and furiously
That's my heart reminding me that i am, in fact alive.
