"Sloane! I need help!" I heard Claire shout from the front door. She sounded frantic and exhausted.

I ran to the door to find her holding up a boy about her age. He was in bad shape. Clothes torn and blood coming from too many places to pick one out.

"What in the hell happened?" I said looking over the injured boy as we laid him down on the porch.

"I was on a hunt and I found him. We've hunted together before, but I panicked and I brought him home." She said with obvious fear in her voice.  "It was a werewolf, I duct taped him together. He's barely not dead" Claire said with tears welling. She'd never lost someone on a hunt before.

"I'll get him back together don't worry." I said laying hands all over him as I heard dean approach. The poor kid was literally held together with the tape. "You did good kid" was all I said to her as I worked.

"Who's that?" Dean said gruffly as hell approached. Claire still freaked out barely got out a name.

"His name is Ben" and with those four words dean turned pale white. He just froze as I finished healing him.

"Dean who is this boy to you?" I asked as I stood up. Dean just stared at the kid as he sat up.

"That's Ben. Lisa's Ben." Was all he said. He'd mentioned him and Lisa once. But he never gave much detail. But this kid, he looks just like dean.

"You're Dean Winchester." He said quietly as he sat up. "I've been looking for you."

He's deans son, without a doubt. He has his eyes. And his voice. How could he keep that from me.

"How do you know my name?" He said trying to keep his voice from breaking. Whatever the reason he hid this is, it had to be bad.

"I think I'm your son, I also think you're the reason my mother is dead." Ben said standing up as deans face went ghost white.

"Lisa is dead?" He barely croaked out. Dean was never a man to faint. But he looked close to it.

"Dean, why don't you go check on Kelly? I'll talk to Ben and figure things out." I said rubbing his arm and practically pushing him out the door.

Claire followed behind him. She gave me a reassuring look that she'd make sure he was okay. Lisa must of meant more than he'd let on.

"Ben, honey come sit out on the porch with me and tell me what happened." I said taking him by the shoulder to the porch.

"You two are married?" He said motioning to the ring on my hand.

"Yeah, we are. Three years now. Tell me what happened with your mom." I said sitting in a rocker motioning him to as well. He sat down and sighed. He put his head down before speaking.

"When I was about 13 we were in a car accident. And Dean said he hit us. He apologized and left. And that's all me and my mom thought of it. Until I found a box of photos with us all. Neither of us remembered at first." He said keeping his head down

"Then the monsters came, and so did the memories. By the time I was 15 I was a hunter. Mom died when I was 16. Vamp that got lucky. She wasn't cut out for the life he drug us into." Ben said balling his fists.

"How is it you're married? You have a kid, why did he just have a family with you and abandon us?" He said looking at me.

"I'm not human, so it was easier for dean to settle down with me, I'm a nephilim, half arc angel, half witch. But I'm also a hunter." I said trying to be reserved so he could get out his feelings.

"But why did he throw us to the wolves then?" He said getting angry.

"Dean only talked about you and Lisa once, I think, I think he was trying to protect you by leaving you. I know it didn't work, but dean wouldn't abandon anyone unless he thought it was the only way" I said reaching out for his hand.

"Ben, I'm so sorry. I promise you I thought I was doing the right thing. Walking away from you was the hardest thing I ever did." Dean said as we both turned around. He was about to cry staring at ben

"I've thought about looking for you, now that we have a safer life. But I didn't want to uproot everything you had. If I had known Lisa was gone-" Dean was interrupted by Ben hugging him.

He just clutched him tight tears leaving his eyes. "I'm so sorry Ben." Was all he could say.

"Ben, we have a bedroom here that you could have, I don't want to try and force anything on you, but maybe you could stay and get to know everyone." I said as they broke their hug. He just kind of nodded.

Ben and Dean sat on the porch talking until nightfall. He introduced him to the family at dinner. Just Cas and the kids to start. The winchester clan could be a little overbearing so it was best to start small

He agreed to stay with us a while, get to know Dean again, and his little sisters. He was taking everything well, and I'm pretty sure he understood why Dean left.

He seemed like a great kid, and I know Dean was overjoyed to have him home.  Who would've thought Claire would drag him in of all people.
