This is just an appreciation section for the new episode of haikyuu

WARNING: THIS MAY BE A SUPER INACURATE REPRESENTATION OF SUNA SINCE THE WRITER DIDN'T HAVE A LOT OF SCREEN TIME TO MAKE A TRULY CANON SUNA HERE

How you meet
-your friend, has unsurprisingly gotten themselves into one of the wildest 'scandals' in Ina high and it's basically the hottest news in the school
-Suna being Suna, he wanted the details of the story but he wasn't necessarily close with any of your friends mutuals, including you
-but what he DID know is that you were a mutual of your friend, and since he didn't know anyone else he decided to bite the bullet and ask you about your friend
-you replied unwillingly at first but by the end of the day, you got yourself what will be a very unlikely friendship

Becoming friends
-that friend of yours was sort of spiraling into this hotpot of drama so that meant there was much more to talk about with him about it
-it was sort of a confusing time for you since that friend of yours was very close with you, so it felt really nice to put your input on this situation
-even when things started to die down and the news became old, you would both still meet up together sometimes since it was kind of a ritual to do so at this point, and neither one of you really wanted to break the ice so you both just rolled with it

Your friendship
-whenever you guys had some free time in the day, either one of you would find a place to meet up and talk about things varying from more gossip about Inarizaki high to some other really deep topics
-it wasn't your normal friendships where you guys would wave at each other in the hallways and meet up every weekend, you guys have not meet up for two weeks straight one time and met up ten times in the following day
-you never really knew what to expect from him really, he could cancel plans to go to practice or he would arrive at the place early with some food
-as unconventional as it was, this was a very good friendship and one you wouldn't exchange

Realizing his feelings for you
-the more you guys hung out the more he was chill with you, ya know?
-he never really ~vibed~ with anyone that way, you were kind of like a copy of him but with a couple tweaks
-hangouts now we're getting kinda warm n fuzzy and he felt really relaxed at those times, it was a nice break from volleyball
-he found out like while in the middle of you talking this one time, and he wanted to take action as soon as possible now

Asking you out on a date
-later on with the conversation, Suna was thinking that if anything, now would be a pretty good time to ask you out
-so just midway into your sentence he just says "Hey Y/N I kinda like you, do you wanna go on a date with me this weekend?"
-this caught you completely of guard so you stopped speaking for a moment
-after you caught your composure real quick and agreed he was cool with it and continued with the conversation as if he didn't confess his feelings for you

First date ♡
Date: Sushi restaurant
-it was a very lovely place with nice ambiance and incredible chefs, you were actually quite surprised at the quality of the place that Suna picked since he said he was paying for the meal
-but you guys were getting a couple looks and stares, maybe because you were a high school couple?
-well anyways, you adjusted your sweater and PJ pants and Suna cleaned up his from the stain he got from eating chicken last night and you guys were headed off to have a nice meal
-although you guys almost got kicked out for improper attire, it was a great first date experience nonetheless
