Frankie's POV

~ ♡

Morning at Waffle House are sometimes the worst thing possible. Waking up at the cracks of dawn, then walking into a freaking breakfast restaurant that's apparently irresistible to everyone, and spending most of the morning trying to properly place orders and deliver food... But I enjoy my job and I can't complain.

"Fran, sweetie, what's wrong?  You're like...  not the same today." Tammy walked up to me.

"Yeah... do you remember that boy I met on Facebook?  The one that I've never actually met?" I asked her, setting a few plates of food down.

"Yeah. You told me you're afraid to meet him face to face." She said. "For obvious reasons, though."

"Exactly. Well, I was talking to him the other day, and he mentioned visiting. I didn't know how to respond so i got off instead, but the next morning Sam took my laptop while I was asleep and set up with him for when he's visiting. I have two days left." I told her.

"Sketchy." She stated, flipping some waffle makers.

"Exactly. Like, what if he's a murderer? Or a complete liar and he isn't wo he says he is?" I sighed.

"Have someone with you when you meet just in case. If he isn't who he says, like face wise, give him a chance anyway. Maybe he still would act the same as be does. Could be just afraid to show his face." She explained and tuned to me.

"He claims he's in a band, if he's the real guy. I've never listened to him music, and only pictures, so he could be lying about that." I told her, seeing another person walk into the building.

"Go do your work now, Frankie. Talk later." She chuckled and waved me off.

After the long day of work, I drove home and pulled my laptop off the floor. I looked at my bed and saw Tigger, my big cat, laying there asleep. I pet his head gently before Facebook loaded up. I messaged Chris first before doing a few random things.

Hello.

Hi.

How was your day?

Spectacular. Yours?

That sounds a bit far fetched.

yeah, but it's better to stay positive.

I guess.

So how was your day?

Long. Boring. Waffles.

I enjoy waffles.

I do too, but I barely ever eat them anymore.

I understand.

Yep haha.

What time do you get off work tomorrow?

About 4.

awesome.

Yeah. Just means I get to come home and message you. Literally nothing else.

I'm a delight though.

Indeed you are.

So, you're from Tennessee,  so do you have an accent?

Very much.

Cute.

I guess if you're into that stuff.
