07: Wonders and Mishaps in the Woods

"Hey Tae, do you wanna go for a run in the woods with us?" Baekhyun said.

"Of course hyung! Let me go get some spare clothes, oh shall we have a picnic?" Taehyung excitingly suggested.

"That's a great idea Tae, I'll go prepare the snacks-" Suho said.

"Oh are you guys going somewhere?" Jin asked.

"Yeah! We're going on a picnic and a run in the woods," Baekhyun said.

"That sounds exciting, mind if me and a few others join?" Jin asked.

"Sure! The more the merrier," Chanyeol said, the others nodded in agreement while Taehyung just sighed.

"Let me go and inform the others," Jin said, walking away.

"Why did you have to say yes hyung?" Taehyung whined.

"They were so nice to even take us under their wing for the time being, its the least we could do." Baekhyun explained.

"Uhhhh fine," Taehyung grumbled.

"Okay we're all set, now let's get going!" Chanyeol said.

"Yep, oh we have to wait for one more person," Hoseok said.

"Oh here he is!" Namjoon said as everyone turned their head to see their head alpha making his way towards him.

Taehyung scoffed.

This was going to be fun. Just fun.

"Oh does here seem like a good spot?" Sehun mind linked everyone.

"Yeah, this seems like a really good spot, let's stop and set the stuff up," Baekhyun mind linked.

Everyone shifted back into their human form and spreaded four picnic blankets, taking out the food.

"Hey Tae, while they set up, do you wanna go and walk around and explore?" Kai said.

"Of course!" Taehyung cheered as he happily skipped with Kai ready to go on a mini adventure.

"Where are you two going?" Suho questioned, catching everyone's attention.

"Oh Tae and I are about to go on a mini adventure." Kai said.

"Okay but don't go too far," Baekhyun warned.

"Don't worry hyung, wouldn't, we're big and strong independent men, we wouldn't get lost." Taehyung confidently said.

"Hyung I'm scared, where are we?" Taehyung worriedly said.

Maybe Taehyung and Kai were abit to confident and maybe they got carried away talking, looking at the scenery and eating berries because now they were lost.

"How about we mind link to them?" Kai suggested.

"Hyung, your think I didn't try that? I think we're too far away for the mind link to work." Taehyung sighed.

"Great just great, now what do we do?" Kai sighed.

"Nothing, now we just sit and wait." Taehyung said.

"Why can't we just shift into our wolves and use our smell to find our way back?" Kai suggested.

"We have been walking for a while now, shifting in this condition will make our wolves weak and tired, plus we have to shift it get to our pack house," Taehyung explained.

"I'm sure that hyungs and that stupid alpha will find us soon." Taehyung said.

"I hope so," Kai sighed.

"Oh my fuck, I think it's about to rain," Taehyung cursed.

"Fuck," Kai whispered.

"We should go look for them," Jungkook said, standing up.

"I agree with Jungkook, it's been a really long time and I can't even mind link them, they must be lose and possibly in trouble." Namjoon said.

"Let's split up," Baekhyun said.

(Group 1- Jungkook, Baekhyun, Jin, Chanyeol, Suho)

(Group 2- Namjoon, Jimin, Hoseok, Sehun, Xiumin)

The boys shifted into their wolf forms and dashed off with Jungkook being the true blood alpha, in the lead.

Jungkook sniffer the air as he ran to search for a faint scent trail from his mate but with no luck as all of a sudden, dark clouds surrounded the area and pouring rain dropped from the sky, wiping out Taehyung's possible scent trail.

"What are we going to do now? The rain probably got rid of their scent trails," Chanyeol mind linked Jungkook.

"We keep going, now it's up to our instincts and luck to find them," Jungkook said.

"I'm hungry," Kai said.

"Me too," Taehyung replied, adding the remaining dry leaves into the fire he made.

Luckily they managed to find a little cave in the woods before the rain poured down on them.

"You're the alpha, why don't you go hunting?" Taehyung scoffed.

"I don't wanna get my feet wet, it's dark, cold and soggy out there," Kai said as he shivered.

"You're such a drama queen, you know that?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows.

"Fine I'll go get food," Kai pouted.

"Oh my god Taehyung, I think something bit me!" Kai screeched.

Taehyung scoffed in disbelief as he stood up ready to beat the shit out off Kai.
