In the middle of the night I had a slight pain in my head which woke me up. I turned to Nate. His eyes were closed and he looked so peaceful, his lashes; beautifully long fanning his cheeks. I was honestly jealous, how did he have such beautiful lashes? His nose sharp just like his jaw and his lips: so full and pink. His wavy curly hair was all messy now, I was tempted to run my hands through them but I held back.

I probably looked so creepy watching him sleep in the middle of the night, even Edward Cullen would be creeped out by me.

I slowly opened my eyes as the sun was bright. Sunlight was coming through the windows directly into my eyes. I stretched my arms above my head and woke up with a content yawn. My head was a bit aching, I didn't take my medicine last night, maybe that's why. For a second I thought I was in my room, I blinked a few times and realised this wasn't my room. I looked around and last night's events came back to me. I smiled to myself. Last night was by far the best sleep I've had as long as I know, despite the slight pain in my head, though I had no idea why.

Nate wasn't beside me this time. So I got out of his bed and went into the bathroom to do my daily morning stuff. I made my way down stairs and saw that Nate was standing in the kitchen trying to cook something, but clearly just trying because it didn't look like it was working out for him.

There was a pan placed on the stove and he was almost three feet away from it holding a spatula to his chest, as if the oil would burn his body.

"What are you doing?" I laughed at his scared expression and went near to see what he was exactly trying to make.

"Making a brilliant fucking painting with a spatula." He said sarcastically.

There in the pan were some eggs and some onions, clearly out of shape making his 'brilliant painting' look like a lump of mess in the pan. "It looks like a big glob of raw eggs."

"Sweetheart, look again. It's clearly an artwork here." He moved the spatula around dramatically.

"Yeah, clearly." I said with a sly smile when the smell of burnt eggs started surrounding the kitchen.

"Fuck, shit!" He jumped back a little, turning the stove off. "Okay that didn't go as planned" He said, looking at the glob, disappointed. He then turned to me, I just couldn't hold it in and started laughing.

"Well damn, sorry for being thoughtful and making you breakfast or trying to." He pouted slightly when I was still laughing.

When my laughter died down I went near him and took the spatula from his hand. "You know what? you go sit down there, I'll do this." He was still frowning at the pan. "And thank you for trying okay? It's the thought that counts." He huffed but sat down on the chair while I made the eggs again. I toasted some bread that was lying on the counter as well and served us both before placing his plate in front of him.

He took a bite as I sat down next to him. "How can you make a simple thing like eggs taste this good?" He said stuffing more eggs and toast in his mouth.

"I try." I smirked and ate some from my plate. I was no cook but I knew my way around the kitchen.

"Oh wait, what about those cookies you bought yesterday?" He said.

"Oh right!" So he remembers. With the amount of alcohol he had yesterday, I didn't think he would even remember it. I took the box in which I had the cookies and placed it in front of him.

"What is that?" He asked, confused looking at the tag on the box. Shit! I should have removed it.

"Umm nothing just, you know about yesterday." I had already apologized and all when we went to bed so the tag was unnecessary and I was kinda embarrassed now, even that smiley face looked weird to me.
