Andy's POV
After an exhausting six hours of battle, we were granted a respite by Shredder.
"Retreat!" He bellowed, clutching his stomach. I hoped that he was in pain, so much pain that he was going to die slowly and painfully. I hope it felt like there was thumbscrews digging into his stomach, or that he had Ebola or something fatal. He and his troops raced down the hall, but that's when the great thing happened. Mikey had put down traps in that area. Shredder ran right into a giant net, which yanked him up, and gassed him. We all quickly put on gas masks, and Donnie gassed the whole lair, and the following hallways. Within seconds, the troops and Shredder were knocked out.
"I can't believe that worked." Mom said weakly, holding her shoulder.
"Donnie, we need to kill them. Every last one of them." I said viciously.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm putting them on a raft and launching them into the middle of the sea." Donnie said harshly. Everybody stared at us.
"What? He has torn this family apart. Rogue hates me, Felina and her and the kids had to leave! It's for the best for them." I said.
"Fine." Dad finally conceded. They tied up to guards, and stripped them of everything except for their undergarments. Then we shoved them into the dungeon. Next we stripped Shredder or anything he could use as weapons. I couldn't help but realize how fat he was. It was ridiculous. Suddenly, his form flickered. He took the shape of Sapphire, her hair spread in a halo on the ground. I quickly tied her up.
"She looks pregnant." Raph's wife commented. I looked at her and almost screamed. She looked like she had swallowed a planet. My planet. Oh my gosh. What would I tell Rogue? She got our kids, and I got Saph's kid? My brain hurt too much to think about it.
"Mikey, go get a gurney. Andy, come with me. We're seeing how she is before we throw her into the dungeon." Donnie said, determined. The whole family let us pass, surveying is gravely. It was super awkward.
Donnie had her hooked up to every machine needed for a pregnant woman.
"She's carrying a boy. He's about 8 months old. She should give birth right aboutttttt...now." Donnie said.
"Ah!" Saph screamed, bolting up and grabbing her stomach. She glanced around, then settled on me.
"Andy! Help me, it hurts so bad!" She begged, tears pouring down her face. I stared at her impassively. I wasn't doing anything.
"Alright Sapphire. When I say push, push, or it's gonna hurt a lot more than right now." Donnie threatened. She nodded meekly.
Half and hour later, Donnie was concentrated.
"I see the head. About 4 more big pushes, ok Sapphire?" He asked.
"Why me?" She moaned. She hit her next contraction, and pushed hard. A few minutes later, there was wailing. Saph relaxed, and I immediately lunged to tie her wrists and ankles to the table. Donnie didn't stop me, but handed the newly cleaned child to me.
"Andy, about everything that happened. I'm sorry. None of this would have happened if I would've just never had met you." She said, gripping my hand.
"Sapphire, have you ever had any bleeding problems? I can't get you to stop bleeding." Donnie asked.
"No." She said, starting to get scared.
"Andy...when Shredder took over me, I learned something very valuable. If you have something good, don't let it slip through your fingers. I had you, and I let you slip through my fingers." She whispered. There was shouting coming through the lair.
"I loved you Andy. And now you need to love my son as your own." She said, her grip slackening. Donnie was working frantically to stop her bleeding.
"Andy?" Rogue asked, stepping into the light. Something in her eyes glinted as she saw Saph's son. She slowly reached behind her.
"Rogue, are you ok?" I asked, kinda scared, to be honest.
"Yeah." She said.
"Yeah I'm fine." She repeated. I turned my back on her for a second.
"Die b*tch!" She screamed, brandishing a knife. Quick as a flash, she darted around me, and stabbed Saph in the chest with a knife, pushing all the way to the hilt.
"Rogue!" Donnie and I shouted. Raph came running in, followed by the rest of the family.
"Oh my gosh!" Leo's wife murmured, turning her head.
"Turn around." Mikey whispered to Sam and Miranda. Saph gurgled on the table, switching between Shredder and Saph.
Finally, it settled on Saph, and he eyes met mine.
"Remember..." She said faintly. The heart rate minister screeched as the heart rate fell flat. Saph was dead. Sudden rage flew through me, and I turned on Rogue.
"What was that?" I demanded.
"I'm killed the girl that tore us apart!" She snarled.
"She was already dying!" I exclaimed furiously.
"Good. I just helped her along!" She spat. The boy in my arms stared crying, and Rogue looked at me.
"What is that?" She asked softly.
"What does it look like?" I asked rudely.
"Is that...hers?" Rogue whispered.
"Yes!" I spat. Rogue stumbled backwards, and then turned and ran. I was left thinking about our family. Were Rogue and I just a soap opera?
