I woke up with tears dried on my face. After all the drama yesterday, I wanted a normal day more than anything. I got ready, crept downstairs and left the house before they could say anything. At lunch, I was sitting next to Biana and Linh when Stina, the school bully approached me. "Strange that one day she's giving you glares and the next she's your BFF." she said. "While she was spending time with you. She forgot about Maruca. She told me something Biana will not like for me to say."
"Go away, Stina!" said Biana. "Maruca told me she's just your friend because her father asked her to befriend the brown-eyed freak." said Stina. "Is thi-this tr-true, Bi-Biana?" I said, stammering. "Yes, but-" I cut her off and ran out of the cafeteria, running into Keefe and Fitz. "Is this how you greet your friends, Foster?" asked Keefe. "I suppose Alden asked you two to befriend me." I said, trying to leave their grasp. "What did Biana say?" asked Fitz.
"Leave me alone. You're not my friends. Everyone hates me. Edaline and Grady canceled by adoption and you guys, are not even my real friends. I'm the brown-eyed freak, that everyone hates." I said, crying. They left me and I ran towards the beach near Foxfire. I just ran and ran, until I tripped on a rock and passed out. The last thing I remembered was excruciating pain and lots of red near me.
