I hummed in the car. Me and Biana got out. I closed my locker to see Valin beside me. "Aaah!" I shouted in surprise. "Hey beautiful! You wanna go with me for prom?" he asked. I was disgusted, looking at his drool. "Sorry, but I can't." I said. "Why?" he asked, looking hurt. "I'm sorry but I don't like you that way." I said. "Oh." he mumbled and went away, looking sad. I sighed.

Suddenly, I tripped, but was caught by a pair of strong arms. I looked up to his beautiful teal eyes. "Sorry.." I said and got up from the awkward position. "Just the person I was looking for." he said. "Really?" I asked. He put a strand of my hair behind my year. Suddenly, the bell rang. "I'm sorry. Need to go. Can't be late. Tell me during lunch." I apologized and headed to my class.

After Chemistry, I had P.E. Coach Alexine excused me because of my injury and gave me a free period. I went to the library and saw the last person I thought I would there. "Keefe! You are at the library?" Sophie asked, bewildered. "I got to study for midterms, Foster!" Keefe said. "Oh, you didn't seem like the library kind of guy." Sophie explained. "I understand. You're wondering how I can have the looks and the smarts. It's a gift." Keefe said. "Shut up!" Sophie told him.

"She's smart, pretty, feisty too!" Keefe said. Sophie blushed. "Are you a tomato?" Keefe joked. "Shut up!" Sophie shouted. "Shhh.. keep quiet, you too!" the librarian whisper-shouted. "Sorry, Mrs. Belva." Sophie apologized. "Anyways, want to get out of here?" Keefe asked. "I know where the teacher's lounge is. It has many desserts." "I'm in." Sophie grinned. Anything that involved food, was her calling.

"Where is this lounge of yours?" Sophie asked. They had been wandering for twenty minutes. "Patience, Foster." Keefe said. "Here" He pointed to a door. They went in. Sophie was amazed. On one side, there were candies and the other, custardbursts, brownies, ripplepuffs, cupcakes and anything and everything you could dream of was there. Sophie stuffed her face. Finally, she was stuffed. "I don't think I'll be able to have lunch." she mumbled.

They got out of the lounge and headed to their other classes. Well, at least Sophie did. Keefe went to his favorite ditch spot.
