Chapter 7 : Turmoil

Riddhima was stunned upon hearing Shekhar's wish. She couldn't believe her ears. Vansh was also shocked as he never imagined Shekhar can ask for such huge thing.

Riddhima roared "Have you lost your mind Shekhar??!!"

Shekhar : "No mumma. I am in my all senses. I want this or else I don't want anything."

Riddhima moved towards him and held him tight "What do you think ha?? Is it any kind of game going on? Have you ever thought what does it mean?"

Shekhar was way firm "Yes I thought. And I want my papa. I am sure Vansh papa will give me everything that wanted from my papa."

Riddhima couldn't bear this, she slapped Shekhar. Shekhar started crying. Seeing all this mess Shalini sent Meera to another room. And started to pacify crying Shekhar.

Riddhima : "Shalini ! Where have I fail as mother that today he is demanding a stranger to be his father. Am I not enough for him." He also started to crying.

Shalini : "Riddhima please !! He is child don't get so hyper. We can make him understand. You get Relax first."

Vansh was still in shocked state. Shakher came to him and asked "You will not say anything?"

His innocent voice awakened Vansh from his thoughts. He sat on his knees and said "Beta ! This is not possible. And you can't ask anything like this. You have hurt your mumma alot."

Shekhar hugged him and was not leaving him.

Shekhar : "Papa !!! I didn't know meaning of this word. But the day I met you. I felt if my papa would be alive he would also love me the same way you do. I love my mumma alot and never wanted to hurt her. But now I want you too. I want my family to be complete. I want mumma and I want you as my papa."

He tightened his grip on Vansh. Vansh couldn't bear this, he couldn't compile his feelings. Because he also loved Shekhar alot but this was way unexpected.

Riddhima got so annoyed and angry seeing all these. She went towards Vansh and Shekhar. She jerked away Shekhar from Vansh.

By Riddhima's such behavior Vansh got shocked. But he understood that Riddhima was hurt alot so it would be better if he won't say anything.

Riddhima : "Please leave." He said with utter annoyence to Vansh.

Vansh : "Riddhima !! Please relax and I will definitely leave but before that let us sort this matter out."

Riddhima : "It's my personal matter and you have no right to interfere. So please be in your limits and leave right now."

Shalini : "Riddhima this is not the way to talk. Please stop getting hyper."

Riddhima : "Shalini ! You are making me understand. Can't you see how this man has brain washed my child. That he is demanding this insane thing."

Upon hearing this Vansh felt so bad. He didn't lost his cool but said "Riddhima I totally understood how bad you felt. But believe me if I would have ever felt that Shekhar is going to say such thing. I will definitely make him understand. And I swear on my lord I haven't imagined this in my wildest dream."

Riddhima : "Vansh !! You really want to me to believe you. Despite knowing that a six year old kid can't understand such deep matter."

Vansh : "Agree a six year old kid can't understand such thing. But a kid or a child can understand what love is. You are a mother tell me one thing when a baby is born it knows only it's mother. Why?? Because it can feel the unconditional love of her mother."

Riddhima was all shocked that Vansh was preaching her.

Riddhima's face got redden in anger.

"Vansh I don't want to insult you. But please I am pleading you leave me and my kid alone. We don't need anyone. We were happy before you came and we will be happy without you too. So please go from our lives."

Upon hearing this Shekhar ran towards Vansh and held his hand.

"No.. he is not going anywhere. I can't loose my papa twice. Mumma you are not understanding. Please... Papa you are not going. " He was crying inconsolabliy.

Riddhima : "Shekhar now I am loosing my cool. Leave his hand and go to your room."

Shekhar was not leaving his hand infect he hugged him tight. Riddhima moved towards them and pulled Shekhar. Vansh and Shekhar both felt a sudden grief. She dragged Shekhar to his room.

Shekhar was screaming for Vansh. A tear drop slipped from Vansh's eyes. He never wanted such situation but he also loved Shekhar alot so he couldn't see him in this grave condition.

Shalini was also standing like a statue. As she was also not getting what to say now.

At one moment Vansh thought to see Shekhar once as still he could listen his sobbing. His heart was wrenching hearing poor child's sobbing. But he understood very well that Riddhima will definitely not like this.

So with a heavy heart he started to walk towards the door. He came to his car.

Still Shekhar's words were echoing in his ears.

"I can understand your pain beta. As I have also gone through the same. But this can never be possible. I will pray to God that you can ever forget me."

He was also crying. He wiped his tears and started his car.

After sometime Shalini also left with Meera. Now only Riddhima and Shekhar were in the house.

Shekhar was still crying. Riddhima came to him and offered water.

Shekhar denied to drink water. He said "You are a bad Mumma."

Riddhima : "Your demand can never be fulfilled. Arjun is your father."

Shekhar in a stern tone "He was my father."

Riddhima again raised her hand to slap him but somehow she controlled herself.

Riddhima : "Listen to me very very carefully. None can take Arjun's place in our lives. So better to accept it whether you like it or not."

Shekhar a poor child was still in moments which he spent with Vansh.

Riddhima was also shattered and lost that she failed to fulfill her duty as a mother.
