Chapter 11 : History repeats itself

Couple of months later

It was early in the morning. Sun hasn't come yet. Uma was preparing sargi for Riddhima( Yes you all guessed right it was the day of karva chauth). She was very happy because it was first karva chauth of Riddhima.

Riddhima woke up in morning. She was all lost and upset. She took bath and got ready. Vansh was also got ready and they came to drawing hall.

In hall Uma was waiting for both of them, as soon as they came Uma greeted them.

Uma : "Good morning beta ! Riddhima here is your sargi for your first karva chauth."

She came forward with sargi in her hand. Riddhima saw this and she backed herself. Uma couldn't understand why she was behaving like that.

Uma : "What happened Riddhima?! Are you ok?"

Vansh was also puzzled he also asked "Riddhima is there anything?"

Riddhima : "Maa atleast you can ask me before preparing for all these. I don't want to celebrate this karva chauth. That's it."

Uma : "I am sorry Riddhima if you felt bad. But as today is your first karva chauth after marriage so I believe you should keep fast."

Riddhima : "I don't want to keep fast and please don't try to impose this marriage on me."

She left hall and rushed to her room in rage. Vansh pacified Uma "Sorry Maa ! On behalf of her I am saying sorry. There must be something or else she can't behave like this "

Uma : "Yes I believe so. No worries if she doesn't want to keep fast then let it be."

Vansh also rushed to their room. For the first time he asked her in higher tone "What was that behavior Riddhima??"

Riddhima's eyes got redden in anger. She came forward and said "She didn't ask me once before planning all these. Did you say anything to her?"

Now Vansh was losing his cool.

"I accept that she must have to ask you prior but this behavior was not at all good. You can't talk with my mother like that. And what did you say we are trying to impose this marriage in you?? Really??!!! Riddhima today you hurt me. You litrally hurt me."

Riddhima : "Oh really!!! Do you know what has happened today??? Ha... Then listen today is the day when I lost my Arjun. Instead of his face I saw his dead body on this day"

She started crying. Even Vansh also felt bad. But he was also equally hurt because the way Riddhima behaved and she was considering him as a stranger he was all hurt within.

Vansh : "I am sorry for this. But did you tell me about this?? How can we come to know about this. And one more thing Riddhima you never considered me as a life partner. Even I didn't expect from you to do so. But today your words has wrenched my heart."

Riddhima : "I did this for my kid. I told you there can never be love."

Vansh cut her line in between and said "Love??? I am sorry to say you don't know what is love."

Riddhima was fuming in anger.

"What ?? Wow the one who never loved anyone is now preaching me what is love!? That's great..."

Vansh was so upset with her today, he totally lost his cool today

"Just keep quiet Riddhima. And for your kind information let me tell you, I also loved someone , nandini her name was nandini. We were in college. We were in a relationship for five years. But one day she betrayed me and left me. I was all shattered and almost traumatized by this Betrayal in love."

For the first time Riddhima felt she did something wrong. She moved towards Vansh but he backed himself.

"Riddhima !! The day you asked me for marriage and you said there can have be love. I understood it so well because you can't forget your love. And today I want to say that you just forget about love now I don't respect you anymore. You lost it today. That day you were a mother who wanted to keep her child happy, but today you are a self centered person who have no emotions for others. You hurt me alot today."

A teardrop slipped from his eyes.

Riddhima : "Vansh !! Listen to me. I don't...."

Vansh didn't let her to complete her sentence.

"Don't worry I understood you don't like me . And you are with me because of Shekhar, you are bearing me and this relationship also."

Tears were rolling down from his eyes.

"I didn't expect this Riddhima. I Never said anything to you. I know you will neither accept me or this relationship. But sorry I am not in a Condition to call off this relation. Because I can't snatched away Shekhar's father twice."

Riddhima was trying to say but Vansh was not in a mood to listen to her.

After saying this left the room in all distraced condition. Riddhima was so worried for Vansh.

"What I did?? I hurt him. No ... No... He was all right he never said anything to me. Everytime he was calm and composed when I was agressive."

She sat on the bed and thinking about Vansh.

Here Vansh left his house in rage. He started his car and left for some unknown place.

Riddhima's words were echoing in his ears.

"Riddhima I never tried to impose this marriage on you. Today you hurt me alot , I know what is love. Leave about life partner you didn't consider me as human being. I never expected this from you."

He was lost in all these thoughts and tears were rolling down from his eyes.

Suddenly he saw a big truck coming to him. He lost his balance and the there was a bang.
He met with an accident. He was injured badly. Soon people gethered there and took him to the hospital.

Here in room Riddhima was getting worried for Vansh.

"Where he went?? And why he didn't call me once. Let me call him."

She took her phone and dailed Vansh's number. She tried five times but Vansh didn't picked her phone.
Now she Started to get panicked.

"Oh Lord, why he isn't picking my call up. Vansh please pick my call. I want to say sorry to you. Please pick up "

She tried again and this time some unknown person picked her call.

"Hello, I am Riddhima, Vansh's wife. Where is he? Please give phone to him. And may know who are you?"

Person : "Hello Ma'am, I am speaking from Forties hospital, your husband met with an accident. You please come to hospital as soon as possible as he is critical."

Riddhima stumbled to bed, she was crying miserably.

"What?? No this can't be possible. I can't loose him. No.... Vaaaansh...!!!"

She left her home and rushed to hospital.
