Cass was sitting in D.A.D.A Monday morning trying to concentrate on the pink toad standing at the front of the room, but she was riddled with the thoughts of what had happened Friday in the astronomy tower. She was confused on why Weasley has come after her, her friends had never done that. Was it normal for people to do that?

She nudged Bianca, who was next to her, "pst."

She looked up at her with confusion. "What," she whispered trying to not let Umbridge know they were talking.

"um, why- why have you never come after me to see if I was okay?" The blonde looked at her like she had horns growing out of her head, "Like Friday at lunch or Thursday night in the common room?"

"I didn't know I had to," She simply shrugged.

"That's not what I- I mean you don't. You don't have to, I was just wondering?"

"Why the sudden concern?" The blonde's eyebrow rose slightly, "I mean we've never really been touchy like that. We don't do the emotional thing."

Cass nodded not wanting to question anymore. Was that normal? Do friends not do the emotional part? Was Weasley out of line? She mentally scoffed of course he was out of line. He was just being nosy.

"Miss Myers!" Umbridge's sickly sweet voice screeched. "Is my class so boring that you find it a need to daydream instead of paying attention?"

Cass looked up in fear before replacing it with her stone-cold glare. She nodded her head, "No professor, I'm sorry. It won't happen again." She added a quick fake smile hoping to please the women.

Luckily being a Slytherin came hardly when she sent Cass one of her signature smiles, "It better not, or you'll be serving detention with me." The old hag turned back to whatever she was doing and Cass started her work.

The class went by antagonistically slow per usual, so Cass would usually block out everyone and daydream while scribbling whatever Umbridge had them do that day. Today was no different and she would have continued to do this until class was dismissed if it wasn't for a certain unsettling voice making her stop.

"DETENTION! Mr. Potter, my office tonight at 8," It shrieked. The whole class was silent, more than before. Everyone was looking in the direction where the horrid noise came from, Cass was no different. She made eye contact with Weasley who faces showed nothing other than fear. A weird feeling ran through her body and she couldn't put a finger on it when she saw his face. It wasn't sadness, or happiness like most Slytherins felt but maybe worry? She shook that thought off and packed her stuff up as Umbridge had dismissed them.

"Harry, you need to be more careful," She heard Weasley say. His voice was a mix of anger and fear.

"I didn't do anything! It's like I can't even breathe in her class anymore!" Harry snapped making Weasley recoil in disgust.

"Oi! Don't get mad at me, I'm not the one who got themselves in detention," Weasley bit back as Harry walked away. He sighed running his hand through his hair moving it out of his face. He looked up making eye contact with her, immediately turning away.

She watched him walk away before walking out herself. She lugged her way to potions hoping it would be less of a nightmare.
