The sun shined into the room from the window next to the messy bed, it warmed up the room quickly, rotating where the sun sat. It made it's way to the messed up bed, which the cold sheets of the top layer of blankets heated up, creating the domino effect towards the other sheets under it. Though, the heat from the sun was moved up into a face that laid against the pillow that was leaning off the bed.
He was being sun kissed—which is what most people would call it when the sun hits against your skin in a delicate manner. The sun laid against his slightly tan skin, as if it was trying to wake him up.
Which, it worked. The male's eyes fluttered open from the bright sun shining in his eyes. He squinted to wake up, turning his head to look at the alarm clock on the table next to the bed. It was only, 7:57 am, which was quite early for him.
He heard buzzing somewhere, it was faint but in the quiet room, it was easy to hear the buzz in the room. He turned to look up to where his phone was, still half asleep, he reached for his phone, it falling in the process.
The male groaned, resting his face against the soft pillow, waiting for the buzzing to stop. Which, when it did, he turned the other way to get some more sleep, but his plan failed when the buzzing continued.
He turned back around and reached over the side of the bed to grab the phone, opening his squinted eyes a bit more to see who was calling him. He wasn't surprised at all when he recognized the name. He clicked answer and held the phone up to his ear.
"Hello?" he answered with his morning voice, it was deep and raspy, like he had a sore throat. "Why are you calling me in this early in the morning?" he added on, slowly closing his heavy eyelids to get some shut-eye.
The person on the other end had a high-pitched voice when he heard the male speak. "It's not that early, silly, you're just a bum to wake up." he spoke into the phone, which was obvious he had a smile on his face just by how he spoke into the phone.
The blond who had just woke up—pulled his phone away from his ear and looked at the caller ID, squinting to make sure he was talking to the right person. He put the phone back on his ear, "Why are you up so early?" he mumbled, turning around to lay on his back.
The cord that attached to his phone pulled with him and the male got frustrated with how his phone didn't go much further. He ripped the charger out from the slot in his phone and threw it down like it was a snake that bit him in the leg and he wasn't taking it's crap. Especially this early in the morning.
The man on the other end had sounded like his world came crashing down, "Jooheon," he spoke in an upset tone. "You were supposed to meet me at the café this morning, at 8:30, remember?" the frown was visible in his voice, it was like you ripped his heart out of his chest.
Jooheon, was his name, looked back at the time, and then leaning back into the phone, "I still have twenty nine minutes to get there, stop jumping my ass." he muttered, getting up out of bed after he struggled with pulling the sheets over and out of the way, making sure he hit his blankets like it was actually going to affect them in any way.
The blond stood up, his shorts were all messed up and crinkled while he slid his feet against the wooden floor. He walked over to his overflowing dresser and took out some sweatpants and his red and black flannel. He put his friend on speaker to get changed.
"I don't have much time to talk because I work here! So we have to talk while I take orders because you didn't show up." he spoke into the phone, saying it like it was all Jooheon's fault. Like he was trying to guilt trip him in some way.
