'MOM!!!' I yelled. 'MOM!!!' It was no use. The frequent beeps turned into one long beep. She was gone. First Dad now Mom. 2 years had passed since the 4 of us left Los Angeles and moved to London, Nothing had gone right since. Mom and Dad were coming back from the theatre 2 nights ago when they were in a car accident. Dad was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and mom had just died on me now. I am 18 so I am now legally responsible for Amelia. I am in my last year at LAMDA, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. I have always loved acting, but I have never told anyone as I always got put down by my Aunts and Uncles, I had got an agent. I had my first audition Tuesday. 2 days away. I was rushed out of my mom's room. Amelia was sat with the social worker that had been brought in by the police. The social worker has explained everything to Amelia, she understood it all very well for an 8 year old. I didn't want to tell her myself. When Amelia saw me she ran up to me and hugged me. I picked her up. 'I guess it's just you and me now then beautiful' I said. Amelia looked shocked and began to cry again. 'What's wrong Amelia' She shook her head. 'Please tell me, I won't get mad.' She hesitated and answered. 'That's what Josh used to call me all the time you haven't called me beautiful in 2 years. I miss Josh' Amelia sobbed out. I didn't know what to say. 'I know you miss Josh, Amelia, But I don't still don't remember him, and Just because you do doesn't mean I have to! Okay!' I said. She began to cry even more. 'Amelia I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that, it's just I don't know what to do' 'I miss Ben too' She said. I froze his name makes me cringe. Ben was my boyfriend for a year. Jami-Lei my best friend that I met at LAMDA, introduced us. We hit it off right away but it didn't last. He was handsome and so kind. He helped me through school and helped look after Amelia when mom and dad were at work. He was perfect until I caught him cheating. I went to his house a year ago, his mom answered the door. 'Oh hello Katie. Ben is upstairs with Merissa.' I was angry. His mom didn't even realise. I walked up the stairs to his room, fuming. I slammed the door open. He was on top of her, she was screaming his name. 'BEN WE ARE OVER!! YOUR DUMPED. HOW COULD YOU CHEAT ON ME!! WE ARE OVER!!' I yelled and ran out the house. The next few weeks he would constantly text and call me. I never replied . This carried on for months then one day there was a knock at the door. I was home alone as Amelia was round a friends for a sleepover. I was so happy she was. It was ben! He ran in and shoved me against the wall. 'So now you're going to do what I say! You don't use me and treat me like a piece of dirt.' He yelled in my face. He ripped off my clothes and slammed me on the table. It was freezing, I was stone cold. I wasn't bothered that I was naked, he had seen me naked before it was just the fact that I knew what was going to happen next. When he was done, he left. I was on the floor in the corner, naked and just been raped. This happened every week. It was always on the same day, so I always made sure Amelia was out. I felt someone tapping me, snapping me back into reality. 'Katie?!?!? Hello?' Amelia was yelling. 'Sorry Amelia I just was thinking I'm sorry what did you say?' I said. 'Oh don't worry now' She replied. I hugged her. 'Come on gorgeous lets go home.' I said to her. I grabbed her hand and we walked out of the hospital after I signed some forms. We got into my Land Rover Dad brought me for my 18th Birthday. We drove home. We live in a big mansion in the middle of London. Dad's job made us rich. I never knew what he did as a job, but it made us lucky. A few weeks had passed. I had got the main role in the movie I auditioned for, called 'Long Day' it is about a girl and a boy who fall in love but they get separated for an unknown reason.Ben kept ringing me and texting me. Luckily I was out whenever he came round. Jami- Lei my best friend had been on holiday with her family and came back yesterday. I needed to speak to her so I arranged for Amelia to go round a friends that night to sleep as I had to sort out things and I needed to speak to Jami-Lei. I said bye to Amelia as I dropped her off at Liz's, her friend's house. I walked to Jami-Lei's House. It takes me about 15 minutes to get there. I hugged her as soon as she opened the door. 'I missed you' We both yelled. We laughed and went to her room. I told her about ben, my mom and dad, Amelia and My role in 'Long Day' through the whole of the conversation I was laughing and crying. It got to about 10 o'clock and I had to leave as Jami-Lei's Mom would be home in a minute. I left and began walking. 5 minutes after I started walking, I was sensing someone behind me.
