His Neko

Chapter 3

A/N: Hey so the chapter contains talk of past abuse. So just a warning! But, if your ok with it enjoy!
    Tw of abuse: Whipping, Cutting(!!not sducidal!!), Starving, Beating(!!Punching, Kicking, Slapping, etc.!!)

Roman leads Virgil into the bathroom, where Logan and Patton wait.
"Hey Kiddo. Can you bathe yourself or do you need one of us in here?" Patton asks gently.
"I can do it. If master allows." Virgil responds, still close to Roman.
"Of course you can. Remember you don't have to ask me." Roman explains.
"Oh ok. Then I can do it on my own." Virgil says looking at Patton.
"Good. We'll be right outside, ok kiddo?" Patton questions.
"Ok. Thank you." Virgil says quietly.
"Of course kiddo. Holler when your done or need us." Patton says, "Those are your clothes. I'm sure they will fit you, but they may be a little big. Just holler when you're dressed."
"Ok, thanks Patton." Virgil says, moving away from Roman.
"Of course kiddo!" Patton smiles. Him and the other two exit the bathroom. Virgil undresses from the dirty clothes he wore and steps into the warm bath water, Patton ran for him, wincing as the water hits his wounds. He sighs and grabs the washcloth. He puts the body wash on the cloth. He scrubs hisself clean. He cringes at the dirty water when he finishes. He lets the water out and get out of the bathtub. He dresses into a soft white long-sleeved shirt, which was slightly big on him, giving him sweater paws. He pulls on the black leggings which were also slight big on him.
"You finished V?" Roman calls from outside the door.
"Yeah! I'm done." Virgil says, just loud enough for them to hear. The door opens and the three steps into the bathroom again.
"Oh they are slightly big. But, that's ok, isn't it?" Patton says.
"Yeah it's ok." Virgil answers.
"Wonderful, glad you like them." Logan says, "Would you mind if I have a look at your injuries?"
"I-I don't mind. Master?" Virgil looks up at Roman.
"Remember V, you don't you don't have to ask when it comes to you and your body, Ok?" Roman says looking down at the Neko.
"Ok, sorry it's a force of habit. Old master punished me if I didn't ask permission." Virgil says quietly.
"It's ok, don't worry, I understand." Roman assures, earning a nod from Virgil.
"May I see your injuries now?" Logan asks.
"Yeah, sorry." Virgil moves over to Logan.
"Where are the most injuries?" Logan asks, grabbing the first aid kit.
"Um, back mostly. But, there's some on my legs and arms." Virgil answers shyly.
"Alright. I'll start with your back." Logan says. He lifts up Virgil's shirt and winces are the cuts and scars on the boy's back. He doctors the wounds on the Neko's back. Once finished with those he moves to Virgil's arms, cleaning and doctoring those cuts. After finished with his arms he moves to his legs. Soon Logan finishes doctoring the small Neko. "There I'm finished. I apologize if I hurt you any."
"It's ok. It didn't hurt much." Virgil answers moving back over to Roman.
"We're gonna head out. Thanks guys." Roman says as he guides Virgil out of the room.
"Anytime kiddos! Come back soon!" Patton calls after them.
"Master?" Virgil says quietly.
"Yes Virgil?" Roman responds, glancing at the Neko.
"Why are you so nice to me, not that I mind. But, people hate my kind. I don't understand why you're nice." Virgil says looking up at Roman as they walk downstairs.
"Because, I believe everyone should be treated equally. Neko or not." Roman says, "I'm your new master, if my father allows me to keep you. If he does, I'm going to treat you right. Come to me if anything or anyone gives you trouble."
"Oh ok." Virgil responds, "Wait your dad might not let you keep me? Who will be my master. I won't go back to old master will I? Please don't make me go back."
"I won't, if father doesn't let me keep you then I will give you to Patton. He will take good care of you. And, I will visit whenever I can." Roman answers.
"Oh ok." Virgil sighs. They realize they are just standing at the bottom of the stairs so they walk over to Rin as Patton comes downstairs. They tell Patton bye and make their way back to the castle. "Princess Rin?"
"Yes hunny?" Rin looks at Virgil.
"Are you and master dating?" Virgil asks.
Rin laughs, "No no! We're pretending too. We're going to be wed but we're going to love who we want, Roman here is gay and I'm in a relationship with someone else."
"Oh, sorry." Virgil looks away from Rin.
"Why is that hunny?" Rin asks.
"For assuming." Virgil answers.
"I'm glad you thought we were. That means we're good actors." Rin smiles.
"Oh ok." Virgil says. He yawns and shakes his head slightly.
Roman chuckles softly and picks the Neko up, earning a squeak. After a second Virgil wraps his legs around Roman's waist and his arms around Roman's neck.
Soon Roman hear soft quiet snores coming from the Neko he's carrying.
Roman smiles, "Rin!" He whispers.
"Yeah Ro?" She answers.
"Listen." Rin listens to and gasps.
"Awe! That's so cute!" She gushes, "He's adorable Ro!"
"I agree. This is so cute." Roman smiles as he speaks. Soon the reach the castle and Roman wakes Virgil up. "V, wake up please." Roman bounces a little.
"Mm, what?" Virgil asks sleepily.
"We're back at the castle." Roman answers.
"Oh." Virgil lets go of Roman and Roman sets him down. Roman leads him and Rin into the castle.
"Father!" Roman calls out. The king enters the main room shortly after with King Cory.
         "Yes Roman?" The king asks.
         "Father would it alright if I keep this Neko as a pet?" Roman gestures to Virgil.
          "I don't see why not. As long as he behaves." Richard says.
          "Thank you Father." Roman sighs.
          "Have you kids made a decision on if you want to marry?" King Cory asks.
           "Well, yes I believe we will marry." Rin says smiling a fake smile.
            "Wonderful! The wedding will be in three months!" The kings agree.
            "That's great. I'm taking Virgil to my room. Until will meet again Princess." Roman kisses the back of Rin's hand.
             "Alright Prince Roman. Can't wait."
          Roman smiles at Rin and her father. Roman leads Virgil upstairs. He leads Virgil to a white door with red and gold accents on it. He opens the door and allows Virgil to enter the room. The room had a queen sized bed, the bed had a red cover with white sheets and pillowcases. There are red curtains. A white rug with red and gold splatters on, it lays on the dark hard wood floor. There is a dark wooden desk with papers, pens, pencils, notebooks, and  other writing utensils.
                  "Are you ok with sleeping with me in my bed?" Roman asks sitting on his bed.
               "I'm allowed to stay in your room. I'm not in the basement?" Virgil ask sitting on the floor.
            "No! Why would I put you in a basement, we don't have one anyway. You're going to stay with me, only if your comfortable with it." Roman says.
           "Oh, old master put me in the basement, I wasn't allow in his room unless he called me into it. I slept on the floor too." Virgil explains.
          "Well, you're not anymore." Roman says, "V, what did your old master do to you?"
        "W-we'll." Virgil starts, he moves so he's sitting on Roman's bed. "It depends on what I did mostly. If I disobeyed it was different punishments. He usually hit me with a whip on my back, that's where the scars come from. Sometimes he would cut my legs and arms. If I did something he really didn't like I was starved. I would also be beat, if he was drunk or something." Virgil's voice wavers, as his tears stream down his cheeks.
            "Oh my, V, I'm so sorry." Roman hugs Virgil tightly. "Go ahead, cry all you want. It's ok." Virgil breaks down in Roman arms, as Roman whispers sweet nothings into his ear as he rubs Virgil back. A few minutes later Virgil calm down to only hiccups. "You ok now?"
        "Yeah, Thank you master."
         "Of course V. But, you don't have to call me master y'know. Roman says, letting go of Virgil.
          "Sorry, it's a habit." Virgil apologizes.
           "It's alright if you do. I'm just saying you don't have too." Roman smiles.
            "Oh ok." Virgil says, he leans against Roman. "Is this ok? If I lean against you." 
             "Yes, it's fine. Go ahead." Roman tells him as he rubs his back. Virgil moves onto Roman's lap, cuddling into him. Roman smiles, he thinks to himself, 'God, you're adorable.'
Roman lays down on his bed, the Neko on his chest. A few minutes later Roman's mother knocks and enters the room.
"Roman?" Queen Jenna whispers, getting the attention of her eldest son.
"Oh, hello mother." Roman whispers back.
"Your father told me you had a Neko, but I didn't expect for you to be cuddled up with it." The queen chuckles.
"Well, his old master was really abusive, he was explained what happened and he was really upset. So, I was comforting him. I mean this is extremely cute and I'm not complaining." Roman blushes.
Jenna smiles, but it fades quickly, "Son, I know you're marrying Princess Rin. You're gay son, does she know?"
"Yes she does know. We're going to wed then love who we want. We are going to sleep in different rooms and pretend to love each other." Roman explains.
"I see, if you want I could explain to your father. I can tell him your sexuality, and everything. I just can't promise he won't be mad." Queen Jenna sighs.
"I would appreciate it mother." Roman smiles slightly.
The queen smiles, "Of course Roman. Also, has your brother met your Neko?"
"No, not yet. I planned on taking him over there once he wakes up." Roman says, looking down at the sleeping Neko on his chest.
"Alright. I'll leave you be now. Love ya Roman." The queen opens the door.
"Love you too mother." Roman replies at the door closes.
