His Neko

Chapter 4

A/N: Warning this chapter contains talk of past abuse, again. Roman is explaining to Remus what happen to Virgil.
Tws: Whipping, Cutting(!!not sducidal!!), Starving, Beating(!!Punching, Kicking, Slapping, etc.!!) And slight cussing, but it will be like 'a*shole'

About 30 minutes later Virgil wakes up. He blushes once he realizes he's laying on his master's stomach. He hears Roman speaking with someone else in the room. Virgil lifts his head getting the attention of both boys.
"Hello Virgil." Roman speaks, raising up with the Neko on his lap.
"Hi, master." Virgil says quietly, "I didn't mean to interrupt you."
"You didn't, V." Roman assures. "I want you to meet my twin brother Remus." Roman says, gesturing to the other boy.
Roman sighs when Virgil doesn't answer, "V, you don't have to wait till I give you permission to speak. You know you're aloud to speak freely."
"Sorry Master, it's a force of habit." Virgil apologizes quietly.
"Force of habit?" Remus asks.
"I'll explain later, Remus." Roman waves Remus' question off. "You're not with him anymore, V. You don't have to ask permission to speak, or do things that invole you or your body, the choice is yours. I'm your master not your owner. I take care of you not control you. You come to me if something happens to you. If you want to do something just tell me where you're going to be then you may leave, unless it's to town, then I have to go with you." Roman explains, turning the Neko on his lap; so he's facing him.
               "I'll leave you be, come find me later." Remus exits the bedroom.
               "I'm sorry master. It'll take me some time to get used to not having him around. Forgive me, please." Virgil said, looking away from the prince.
             "I understand, and it's perfectly fine. I don't want you hurt." Roman kisses Virgil's forehead, earning a blush from the Neko. "Come to me if anything happens to you, at all." Roman says sternly.
            "Ok. Thank you master. I'm glad you found me. I don't wanna go back." Virgil leans against Roman.
            "I'm glad I found you too. I'll make sure you never go back. I'll protect you." Roman hugs the boy on his lap.
           Then a knock and the kings voice on the other side. Roman sighs and pick Virgil up and sets him beside him.
             "Sit in the floor, please. My father believes Neko are slaves." Roman whispers. Virgil nods and gets on the floor. "Enter father!" Roman calls out.
              The king enters and glares at Virgil for a second, making the Neko whimper quietly and scoot away. 
              "How may I help you, father?" Roman asks looking at his Neko apologetically.
          "Well, first off get the creature out so I may speak with privately." The kings states coldly, glaring at the cat-boy.
           "Yes father." Roman stands up and motions for Virgil to follow. Roman leads Virgil outside the room. "Listen V. I'm so sorry. Remus' room is right there." Roman points to a room a little ways down the hall. "Knock on his door and explain what's going on." Roman said petting Virgil's ears.
           "Ok." Virgil says, hugging Roman.
            Roman kisses the top of Virgil's head. "I'll come get you once we're done." Roman goes back into his room while Virgil walks down to Remus'.
             Virgil knocks on the prince's door. Remus opens and allows Virgil to step in.
           "Hey." Remus states closing the door.
            "Hi." Virgil speaks, looking at the ground.
           "What's up. Figured Ro would be with you." Remus sits on his bed as he speaks.
          "Your dad is with him. He sent me in here." Virgil explains, sitting on the floor.
          "Oh, I see. Dad's an a*shole. Will Ro come get you later." Remus asks.
          "Uh yeah, he said he would." Virgil answers, playing with the sleeve of his shirt.
"Don't be so nervous around me. I'm not gonna hurt you. Plus Roman would have my head if I did." Remus says with a laugh.
"Sorry. It takes me time to trust someone after what he did." Virgil apologizes.
"It's ok. Roman said he'll explain who 'he' is later. I'm not going to push you to tell me." Remus says moving to the floor with the Neko.
"Thanks. I don't wanna explain anymore." Virgil says looking up at Remus.
             "All good. Wonder what dad wants with Roman." Remus states.
