A week later, Roman is in the main room getting yelled at by his father and King Cory. "You broke my daughter's heart!" Cory yells. "She knew I was gay sir." Roman responds. The yelling continues for a little till Roman gets fed up and snaps.
"No! I'm tired of getting yelled at for over a week because I'm gay! I'm done! Father if you really cared for me then you wouldn't be doing this! I'm going to my room and don't come to me!" Roman yells before storming off to his room.
Roman slams his bedroom door closed scaring the sleeping Neko awake.
"Master?" Virgil asks cautiously.
"What Virgil?" Roman snaps.
Virgil goes quiet. He curls in on himself, watching Roman sit down at his desk.
Roman slams his hands down on the desk.
He sighs and runs his hand through his hair. Virgil whimpers as Roman knocks something off his desk.
Roman pauses at the second whimper. He looks over at Virgil to see tears slipping down his cheeks.
Roman runs over. "Shh. Shh. Calm down." Roman whispers as he wraps his arms around Virgil.
Virgil pushes Roman away. "N-no! No." Virgil scoots away.
"Virgil?" Roman asks.
"Bad." Virgil says, shaking his head, "Just like old master."
Roman gasps, "Oh my god, V! I'm so sorry! Please I need you to calm down. I'm not going to hurt you."
Virgil looks at Roman. He jumps into Roman's arms. "Safe?" Virgil asks.
"Yes, you're safe. I'm not going to hurt you. He's not going to hurt you." Roman answers.
"Master? Why we're you doing upset." Virgil asks, curling further into Roman's arms.
"My father and King Cory were yelling at me and I got upset about it. Nothing to worry about. I'm very sorry I scared you." Roman answers, giving Virgil a gentle squeeze.
"Oh. Are you ok now?" Virgil asks.
"Yes, I'm ok now." Roman responds.
"Oh good." Virgil says.
"Also, are you in my hoodie?" Roman teases.

Roman laughs and hugs Virgil. Virgil whines but snuggles into Roman's arms. A soft purr comes from Virgil, making Roman gush and awe at the Neko. He receives the death glare for the aweing.
